Ive rebuilt the system for a similar price (UK). The only think they you might want to add is a wireless card. Ryzen 5 3600 Gigabyte Aorus X570 Elite Cooler Master ML240L Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) @3600MHz Samsung 970 Evo Plus SSD 250GB 2TB Seagate Barracude Compute HDD MSI Gaming X RTX 2060 Super Phanteks Eclipse P400S TGE Corsair TXM Gold 750 W Yes, you are sacrificing cores. But, you are gaining 4 more threads (Due to SMT on Ryzen CPUs and not on 9700k) and a very improved GPU
-
Depending on your budget, try and get a better GPU. I feel like the 1060 6GB will bottleneck your CPU. Try for a 1080 or 2070 super

Can anyone recommend me a cheapish, high quality boom arm that would work with the AT2020?

3000MHz

I'm having issues OCing my RAM I'm using an X570 Gaming Edge Wifi from MSI that supports memory speeds up to 4400MHz. I'm also using a 3700x Any ideas for how I could push my memory higher?

Ryzen 7 3700x pulling 1.4v at idle?
Evolutiioz replied to Evolutiioz's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Thanks, I appreciate the help! -
I've just completed my new build, and my new Ryzen 7 3700x is acting strange. Maybe it's the new Zen 2 architecture, but surely it shouldn't 1.4v to run at idle? Sidenote: it's also boosting to the chips max boost frequency under 1% load, is this normal?

I'm planning on getting the MPG Gaming Edge WIFI or Aorus Elite for my upcoming build. Looking at features and VRM cooling etc, which one would you guys recommend?
-
Do you guys think the aftermarket RTX Super cards will be the same price has the current ones (STRIX 2070 = STRIX 2070 Super in price)?
-
Are cablemod cable extensions worth the price? Or is there other options?
-
How about going for a 1TB MX500 M 2 drive and keeping the expandability open for an sata SSD?
-
UK market is all over the place at the moment, 500GB 970 Evo is up at nearly £100
-
It also saves me a little bit of money, so I guess that's a plus

I've been looking at Crucials M.2 drives at around £120, I could get an MX500 1TB for £104. Maybe the 1TB HDD and that SSD?
