  1. What makes the PSU you picked so much better than the one I had?
  2. Thank you for the suggestions, the ram seems very good so I might swap to that instead of the trident Z. But I think I might stick with the 1 TB of SSD, as I don't think I will need that much storage. Right now I only have 1 TB of HDD and only about 70% of it filled, so there is no point in my buying a 2 TB HDD I would say. I might spend the extra money on the vega 64 though, I am not sure I have seen lots of places saying the 56 is more worth it for the money especially if undervolted and overclocked
  3. Okay thank you, I won't buy an aftermarket cooler for now then, I am planning on overclocking eventually so if I feel like I should I will then buy a cooler then. And okay, well I will think about getting the Sandisk one instead then. And yeah I might buy the 650w just in case, £10 pounds will not make much difference.
  4. So is the wraith stealth that comes included good enough for the 2600? Some places said it was not so that is why I thought maybe I should get the wraith max. And the Sandisk SSD is a 2.5 inch while the Western Digital was an M.2, wouldn't that make it better and worth it for £10 more? The PSU change seems fair enough, is 550 enough though? And okay I will take a look into the different Vega 56 models. Thank you for replying
  5. Hello, I am going to build a new computer soon, it is the first time I will be building one and here is what I have come up with, what do you guys think? PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant Type Item Price CPU AMD - Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor £144.98 @ Aria PC CPU Cooler AMD - Wraith Max 55.78 CFM CPU Cooler £29.99 @ Amazon UK Motherboard MSI - B450 TOMAHAWK A
  6. Okay, thank you very much, those all seem like better options for my money so I may consider swapping some of the parts I chose for the ones you suggested. Thank you
  7. Okay, so I think I might do that, buy everything but the GPU right now and then buy the GPU once I saved up around 400 pounds for it and see the best option then as it should be compatible. Also, I am wondering, is there any reasons why you made those changes compared to my original build or were you just making an example and did not really compare it to the parts I had chosen?
  8. What if I bought everything now expect the GPU, keep using my current one (the GTX 660) and then buy whatever GPU is going once I save money for it, I am guessing it would still be compatible with the Motherboard I have?
  9. Fair enough, okay thank you. Yeah I mean they are supposed to release the RTX 2060 and the GTX 1160 (I think this one is a rumour isn't it) and those apparently would be similar to GTX 1070 and 1070 Ti? Also thank you for the build
  10. Okay, so I should not plan very far ahead, and once I have the money saved up then decide on the parts I should buy? Okay, apparently Nvidia is realising their new video cards as well right? So I guess I should wait for that as well?
  11. Hello everyone, within the next few months I plan on building a PC. First of all, I was wondering if you guys could give opinions of on what I have decided so far: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant Type Item Price CPU AMD - Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor £148.79 @ CCL Computers Motherboard Gigabyte - B450 AORUS ELITE ATX AM4 Motherboard £103.39 @ Overclockers.co.uk Memory Team - Vulcan 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-300
