  1. Jurrunio is right. The B450 Tomahawk MAX has been going for $120 lately and has a great VRM. It's definitely borderline not budget, but the VRM is just too good for what you're trying to do to cheap out on! On your side note, stick with the stock CPU cooler and get the better RAM. I'm pretty sure that there's three tiers of AMD stock coolers, so if you find someone giving one away or selling one for cheap that is better than the 3400g one, go with that too!
  2. Haha that sounds a little scary for me. I appreciate the quick responses though. The untapped power of the vega's and new rtx cards are so interesting. I really want this card, but some people have told me that the single fan blower style cards are "not good." Do you think the 64 will drop even lower than 399 anytime soon?
  3. I luckily already have a 2600X to pair whatever I get with! This is the list of what makes up my build as of now: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant Type Item Price CPU AMD - Ryzen 5 2600X 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor Purchased For $170.00 Motherboard MSI - B450M MORTAR Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard $90.00 Memory V-Color - SKYWALKER PRISM RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory Purchased For $110.00
  4. Did they end up modding the 56 or the 64? And did they get a cooler for it at all? I'm really interested to see how safe pushing those limits are, because I'm looking for whatever card I get to last at least a year. I've been frequenting r/hardwareswap for a while, but they get snatched up so fast! Also like I said, the game bundles are pretty enticing to me, seeing as they're games I'd play, and it's a brand new warranty when a card is bought new.
  5. I'm in the market to buy a new GPU, and I've been eyeing the 1070 ti for a while now. I'm looking for something that performs near this card, with slightly above or below this type of performance being just fine for me. This will be my first time overclocking a GPU if I choose to. My price point is a soft 400, and the game bundles kind of matter to me as I've been interested in trying Monster Hunter and The Division 2 for a while now. I play a lot of games like Fortnite and Counter Strike, and 1080p@60fps is my minimal target, with 144+ being a cool luxury in case I up
  6. Thanks everyone for the suggestions! Even though the extra $40 won't be too nice to my wallet right now, it sounds like I'll get a lot of value in the long run.
  7. Hi everyone, first time poster here so sorry if the formatting is sub-par. I accidentally purchased a MSI B350m Mortar off of Newegg instead of the B450m I wanted. Rookie mistake I know lol. I bought the B350m for $83.98 ($73.98 after the MIR), and it costs about $23 to me after the shipping and restocking fee back. So my main question is if it's even worth returning the B350m at this point to get the B450m if I'm paying $23 to return it, and then another $40 to get the one I actually wanted. The build I'm making is my first personal PC build, and I'd like to experimen
