Vortex, the tool for NM has a great feature to clone your current save and test mods. Of course that only protects you against anything immediately visible but I have found it invaluable in getting mods working before applying to my main saves.

I also like that it allows me to have various builds playing variously modded games, so I don’t need to add all mods to all saves. If a mod is just relevant to one then it only gets installed on one save!

I use a few mod sites, sourceforge, NM and a few others. Perfectly safe and used by millions every day.

NineEyeRon reacted to warmmilk in stop with clickbait title (youtube)
these are catchy titles, not clickbait.  those titles are directly related to whats going on in the video.  a clickbait title would be something like "I overclock my cpu till it blows up" and then the video is just a couple BSODs while overclocking...

as far as them being "more like a dying youtube prank channel using clickbait titles in a futile attempt to stay relevant" you can thank the youtube algorithms for that. cause it is an attempt to stay relevant, just not futile, cause thats the way youtube works.  if they made boring titles the view counts would drop along with their business.

NineEyeRon reacted to linuxChips2600 in How to update NVMe Firmware?
Although I agree with the general sentiment that "if it ain't broke don't fix it," sometimes manufacturers will release firmware updates to fix bugs that could involve wear leveling (which are bugs that most users won't be able to detect without basically resorting to reverse engineering the SSD).  However, as detailed in a WAN show not too long ago, Adata is a company known to swap out the NAND flash, controller, and DRAM on an SSD without explicitly making the consumer aware of the change.  Which means that there's a much higher chance of you bricking your SSD without you realizing it if you download the wrong firmware even if it may be for the (seemingly) "same" product.

Your best bet is to directly contact the manufacturer with every single piece of info about your SSD (yes, that'll also include the exact model and revision number), and make 300% sure that there is indeed a critical update for your firmware (i.e. a firmware which doesn't just solve issues in very edge cases).  If the manufacture says that your firmware is indeed up to date, then please don't further attempt to update your firmware unless you want your SSD to turn into a paperweight.

Also like the others said please be respectful; there are moderators on this forum you know.

If you would have bothered following the link and then selecting downloads you would have seen they offer you various tools for the drives... my guess is the ssd toolbox was what you needed. Though as already said, if you are not having an issue there is little reason to upgrade.

I think you wildly underestimate what it takes to become a professional athlete, most have sports science education and coaching is a very easy and natural progression. If you get really good then you'll likely also receive media training which means you can progress into presenting and/or commentating.

Their chosen sport can be both plan A and B, at most it takes a few years of additional training.

For that money you could buy a 2 bay Synology and a decent sized HDD. The great thing about Synologies is they only use 5w when idling and around 50w when being used. Anything you try to build will use more than 50w while at idle.
