  1. Thanks man! I was considering RGB Ram at first but I didn't want too much lighting tbh, but I'll consider a rgb strip maybe in the future along the bottom Not too sure bro sorry, I got a motherboard that only had gigabit, since Wi-Fi wasn't that important to me, maybe try making a post on the forum. Thanks man, appreciate it!
  2. Hi all, so after like a few years of playing around with the idea of building this pc, I finally managed to do it and upgrade from my pre-built, I went for the a clean look with the mix of affordability and performance, since parts here are quite expensive for computers. I was surprised on how easy this was, however I did take about one and a half hours of cable management, since I was trying my best to make it clean, overall from the front I feel like it looks fine, while the other side isn't messy but could be better. The W10 install also had some issues, however I manage to fix it with some
  3. The restart worked, thanks man, haha and thank god I didn't needa re-install
  4. is it safe to do so? since its a new PC and the installer is via USB? sorry just paranoid haha so wanna confirm I wont brick anything
  5. Hi all, so I just went to install W10 via USB on a just built PC and its been on the "just a moment" screen for about a few hours now, is that normal? I don't remember it being this slow when I did a fresh install on my laptop. Is it due to my USB stick just being slow? The rest of the system specs is in my signature, I installed it on the M.2. Any help is appreciated.
  6. Bit over budget, for a perpetual license it would cost over $300 for the version supporting all cameras (I use olympus). Plus their monthly is $21, would make more sense to just use lightroom at $9.90 per month
  7. Also just an update, I have used the trial version of On1 and ended up purchasing the license, while testing raw edit capabilities I can safely say it has definitely exceeded my expectations
  8. Thank you! Will be installing it to test as well as a secondary editor on my surface go if possible
  9. I did actually try and download it, but for some reason the website wouldn't let me, I'll see if I can get it downloaded and try that
  10. Yea, was thinking of doing it later on this week to test, seems like lightroom is just hard to beat but I am just unwilling to continue paying for their license, maybe I'll report back on my findings after using the trial
  11. Oh, didn't know that, thought it had non-destructive since the website stated it. Any opinions on affinity besides it being closer to photoshop? Or any other recommendations? Bit lost in the water right now
  12. Hi All I am currently looking for a suitable alternative to Lightroom and was wondering if any of you guys had any suggestions? Looking for something with a perpetual license instead of a subscription based one. Need something that has the ability to create pre-sets, a file managing system (Though basic is fine), batch-processing if possible and also the ability to add a signature to photos upon export. I have two options currently, which are listed below, but I am open to others as well. Please note though that I am trying to get something under 100 USD if possible. So
  13. Interesting suggestion, I would consider it but I doubt it is in my office's budget, plus considering the conversion to Singapore Dollar, it might make it to expensive.
  14. Hi all, I am looking for a suitable printer that can do A3 colour auto duplex, I have found these few options however I am open to more So far these are what I have compiled: InkJet: Brother MFC-J2330DW (S$285) Brother MFC-J2730DW (S$398) Brother MFC-J3930DW (S$537) EcoTank: Epson L1800 (S$661) Epson L1455 (S$1080) Brother HL-T4000DW (S$688)
  15. Thanks all for the feedback I see the difficulties based on your comments and I can't even find a way to access the main router, regardless if I use the IP adress and what not, the issue is that the TP-Link router is already bought, I will try and look through to see if @ckinfos idea works and update you all
