Even tho jsut an assumption in my case more truth then not. My experience is loong ago. So doesnt really count since so much has changed.
But as an RC and DIY enthousiast, is still use lacquers and coatings etc. So its not all gone.

And yes thank you for sharing your wisdom. 🙂

I've got no experience with it at all, unless you can count freezing my butt off in winter in the midwest.

Of the 4 others you tagged, I'm not sure if they have below zero experience, but have probably seen and read quite a bit about it.

    And you're welcome.

It's time to stop replying to the 12 year old.  He's a moron and that's that.  He's asking questions with no point as he can't answer the simple question of 'why?'.  First it's dust, now it waterproofing with no source of water on sight.  Also, who uses lacquer to clean things?  It's a sealant.

HanZie82 reacted to Skiiwee29 in Random primary monitor blackouts
Since it happens specifically on a single monitor, it leads me to believe that its likely the cable then, or the monitor. I would try a different port, if there is one available. If not, swap cables, especially if you're using a default one that came with the monitor. Those are almost always poor quality.

It isn't a OC instability, as I haven't even OCd the card. It's just that the card is showing it's age, also it being a blower card it has higher temps so it degrades a little faster. I haven't yet really experimented how high can I go until it crashes, but -80 is still good.

Documentation on this case is scarce, luckily someone showed the needed manual page in their review:

    Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ES6LVw-cwjs

As we can see here, the case needs a JRAINBOW connector, which the Mortar B450M MAX does not have.
In this scenario, you can only use the LED switch on the front of the case.
They would fit, in the same way this fits:

This hub in the case is only acting like a 'splitter' for the RGB fans, but the needed connector is not on the motherboard.

The picture is to bad to really see, but im about 95% sure the connector i pointed at on motherboard is aRGB connector (output). 😉

Sorry the picture is so bad i only now realize thats not the motherboard but the control board. oopsie. sorry.

There are few logs around the time it crashed:

The previous system shutdown at 19:27:48 on ‎31.‎03.‎2021 was unexpected. Previous shutdown.evtx

Audit events have been dropped by the transport.  0Audit.evtx

The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly. Shutoff.evtx

The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID COM.evtx

    Another CLSIDAnother COM.evtx

There isn't anything about the crash, or even anything close to the crash time

@Spotty This just a thing that keep repeating over and over again non stop for what it is. Psu tier list give you an indication which product is better than the other. But the psu are in the same tier will be a different story for a separate conversation / thread.

The NZXT C850 (rebadged Seasonic Focus Plus Gold) and the Cooler Master V850 are not that far apart in terms of quality.
For me the deciding factor would be the noise, and the 135mm fan in the V850 is quieter than the 120mm fan in the C850. They both have semi-passive fan modes but the C850 (and Focus Gold Plus) can get noisy under heavy load, with Cybenetics measuring the C850 at 44dBa at 100% load. The Cooler Master V850 does not have in-line capacitors in its cables, it uses flat ribbon style cables, which can be easier to manage than the thicker cables used for the C850 which have caps. For the quality of life reasons I would pick the Cooler Master. The measly $3 price difference between the two units isn't really enough to factor in to the decision.

The PSU tier list is pinned to the top of the Power Supply forum. It is the top post on this board. The PSU tier list is not the be all and end all, and people are always better off creating a topic to ask questions instead of referring to the PSU tier list, especially in situations like this where the two PSUs they are trying to compare are ranked in the same tier on the list (Tier A). Linking to the tier list would provide no new information or insight.
There's a note pinned to the top of the PSU Tier List that shows on every page of the thread telling people to create a new thread to ask for help choosing a power supply. Would be pretty pointless if people read the tier list, see that note, create a new thread, and then someone wanting to up their post count comes along and tells them to just go back to the tier list. It would be like one of those children's choose your own adventure books where page 12 tells you to go to page 34, then page 34 tells you to go back to page 12.

Searching for PSU tier list gives immediate results. 😉
Altho i checked its not helping as both are single rail Tier A PSU's. (so very good ones)
They are both good, and will probably last a long while.
So since they also same power, it might come down to extra features.
Like maybe one of them has a 0-fan speed setting (i love it so silent) or some other stuff that might be interesting.

They all just elevate your mouse wire, they do the exact same thing.
(you could easily manage that by stacking couple books and putting the cable in between or something. 😉 )
I think this would come down to looks and features.
Looks like the Cougar has RGB?, if you're into that. The other 2 are very similar, and if they have no internals i would go for the cheaper one.
