Well I've already placed my order and got the WD Blue. I believe I did the right thing, price/GB wise. Thanks for the help!

Greetings, I was wondering where the Seasonic Core GC 500W 80PLUS PSU stands in the tier list.

Hi, I've been looking for a SSD to replace the HDD on a laptop and I've been pretty much been waiting on a price drop on either MX500 or 860 EVO. But now there's a sale on a 2.5" WD Blue 500GB 3D NAND SSD. This drive is comparable to the other two, right? Or is it DRAMless? SSD Ref.: WDS500G2B0A

Quieter it is. Thanks fot the help!

That one looks pretty good. What's best, Pure Rock or Hyper 212 Black Edition?

RAM: Crucial 8GB (2x4GB 1600MHz) Case: Aerocool V3X Advance Evil Black Edition

These sound like wise words, tho in the same price point is a 550W 80+ bronze vs a 400W 80+ gold. Indecision in the air...

Hey. I'm pretty much reviving my old thread, as I didn't do anything about it. Old thread: Anyways, I need a new PSU. I suppose I should go for a bronze+ like Corsair CX450 / CX450M / CX550 / CX550M But RM550x has this appealing "Zero RPM fan mode", tho it seems to be too much money for a 8 year old build. I should probably be logical about it and just go for the bronze+, tho is there any other around CX450's price that can go silent? (and I'll re-ask: 450W or 550W?)

Alright. Thanks for the help!

I don't plan on upgrading, it simply works as my home media server. It seems rather large, how do I know if it'll fit and not be blocked by the RAM sticks? I can. Check the edit:

I can't find any of these in the stores I usually buy from. Brands available: Arctic Cooler Master Cryorig Noctua Nox

Hey. I'm planning on replacing my FX-6300 stock cooler, as it's getting a bit loud. Do I need to study the situation for long or simply get a hyper 212 (~30€). I want it to be as silent as possible, for less money as possible. Let's say the budget is 30€. Any suggestions? EDIT: Also, I don't know if gettting something like hyper 212 won't fit properly due to RAM sticks. How can I be sure? Anything against low profile coolers? Motherboard: ASUS M5A97 EVO R2.0 Socket: AM3+
