  9. Hey. I'm pretty much reviving my old thread, as I didn't do anything about it. Old thread: Anyways, I need a new PSU. I suppose I should go for a bronze+ like Corsair CX450 / CX450M / CX550 / CX550M But RM550x has this appealing "Zero RPM fan mode", tho it seems to be too much money for a 8 year old build. I should probably be logical about it and just go for the bronze+, tho is there any other around CX450's price that can go silent? (and I'll re-ask: 450W or 550W?)

  13. Hey. I'm planning on replacing my FX-6300 stock cooler, as it's getting a bit loud. Do I need to study the situation for long or simply get a hyper 212 (~30€). I want it to be as silent as possible, for less money as possible. Let's say the budget is 30€. Any suggestions? EDIT: Also, I don't know if gettting something like hyper 212 won't fit properly due to RAM sticks. How can I be sure? Anything against low profile coolers? Motherboard: ASUS M5A97 EVO R2.0 Socket: AM3+
