Studio apartment. Sometimes the lights on the logo would turn on at night and I like my apartment dark. I also used electrical tape to cover the lights on the board and case haha. So basically anything other than what I have it set as now? Haha. Copy. The other comment says 3 or 2?

Can't see my second/access storage pool in windows... (QNAP TS-451+)
Eragorn replied to Eragorn's topic in Servers and NAS
I had to go to control panel, shared folders and create a menu. I didn't know that beforehand cause the QNAP automatically created that for the first drive. -
So I set up two storage pools (both raid 1) on my qnap ts-451+. Both are thick volumes and have the status set to ready. The first one when it was being created made default folders and I can access it via windows. The second one though (Mars) says it's ready and I created a folder on it via QTS File Station but I don't know how to access it via Windows? When I go to Windows and click on my NAS (Rocinante) it just shows me Storage Pool 1 (Earth). Do you guys know what I can do to access storage pool 2? I figure I'm doing something wrong but I don't really kn

NAS: QNAP TS-451+ Drives: I have four drives as mentioned above. This will be used as my Plex server. Note: I currently already have it set up as JBOD and have transferred all of my files over to it, but if it's SUPER unrecommended, let me know? Would you guys recommend me setting this as a raid and if so, which one to do?

Is this correct? (Question about free/open space and thick volume)
Eragorn replied to Eragorn's topic in Servers and NAS
ELI5 why it's better tao grow a drive as I need more space vs using folders and just keeping it large? side note: god I'd love to visit new zealand one day haha -
Copy that. I'm using the USB's on it so my PC is connected to it via USB. What made me wonder is because the monitor itself isn't an AOC monitor unless HP is using some of their parts in this OMEN?

I have two of these connected. Could it be one of these that's doing it? I found this monitor exists (though I haven't heard of it till now). Could it be some weird device driver issue? edit: sorry I shared this in the wrong forum and there doesn't appear to be a way to delete/repost it in the correct area.

So I "lock" my desktop each night before going to bed and turn off both monitors. For the third time now in the last two weeks when I've turned on my monitors they give me a "we don't have a signal so we're going to sleep" type of message. Any idea what it could be? I don't really know how to troubleshoot something like this... Specs: EVGA RTX 2070 | Ryzen 7 3700x | 32GB Ram | 650w PSU | Windows 10 Pro (1909) Just now I have been using the computer surfing Chrome for a couple hours. Well for the last half hour I was playing rocket league. Both monitors lost signal to th
