pretty much any ram that is DDR4 and has a speed of 3200mhz plus.
lower will be fine but common belief is that you wont get the most of the processor

Acid Panda reacted to Astra13 in Decided to Challenge Myself and Attempt at A Quick Drawing of Luke (Slick) from Floatplane/LMG ( Quick - Speaking in a matter of hours)
While I am an artist, I'm really not great when it comes to drawing people and I know the porportions are off, but here is my attempt and I thought I would share anyway despite it not being my best work. Original photo used for reference was found on google and while I've kept most things the same I did add my own touches, such as the Floatplane logo on the back of the monitor. I know he's not as active on the forum anymore, but it would be so cool if he could seethis and I'd love to know what Luke thinks of it. IF you do see it, hope you like it @Slick IDK how to tag people. Also the pencil marks look better on the paper in real life so...

Acid Panda reacted to Master Disaster in Order of 1000 PS5(s) is taken down by retailer
This article is being wildly misreported (not in the least bit surprising for Sky News), they didn't just cancel the orders from the scalpers, they cancelled almost all the orders they had received including the ones from the scalpers.
The scalpers worked out how to trick the ordering system into ordering more than one unit per cart which resulted in more units being sold than they had in stock so Very simply cancelled all orders that had more than one item on them but they also had to cancel normal orders as well, they even say the cancellations will effect ordinary members of the public in their statement.
It wasn't a targetted attack per se, just Sky being Sky and trying to spin something into being much bigger than it actually is.

Acid Panda got a reaction from Kiroki in I have a Ryzen 5 3600 with an EVGA 700 watt 80 plus Bronze PSU. Would it be just enough for a RTX 3080 on stock? Thanks in advance!
principally yes. but if there is a spike in power usage as some have reported then it will shut down your system

Acid Panda reacted to DustierDolphin in Should my non-techie partner get the new M1 Macbook Pro?
Best bet is to just wait until reviews are out, but why not consider a macbook air if she's only doing basic things on it?

Acid Panda got a reaction from IAmAndre in Razer's new non gaming laptop
@kelvinhall05 I do get where the hate comes from and I'm not defending them (though I do like their products, look at my signature), I just feel that people band waggon and don't take experience from having and using their products. And its the fact that people won't complain if their product works but will if it does not. So it skews the perspective of a wider audience to be negative. I'm sure if surveyed the forum of those who have had their products most would 'positive' and still work or just not be used any more.

Acid Panda reacted to CutePanda in Questions about storage
My opinion is that you need to store allthe games and stuff in the hdd and store only your OS in a SSD it's a good way of saving money. I always recommend to buy an ssd from a reputable brand like samsung as ssd's (whether m.2 or sata) tend to have short lifespans which can do a lot of damage to your data
Pls reply if u need more info, I wil reply if I know about it, happy to help
*YOUR NAME SOUNDS FIMILIAR BTW* LOL
