Noah0302 got a reaction from itslit in Can I use 3600MHz RAM with Ryzen 3 3100
Yes it is possible:
GN even overclocked the Infinity Fabric to match 3866MHz RAM kit, but the performance was not a whole lot better and often even worse.

Im really happy with my Sennheiser HD 58X Jubilee + Fiio K3 Setup.
This Combo is right inside your budget, maybe even below if you can get a good deal.

Noah0302 reacted to Imglidinhere in Are 9900K CPUs bought in 2021 easier to OC than the ones before?
No, there's no newer stepping and they can all pretty much hit 5GHz without issue.
As for Zen 2, no that's also untrue. The higher numbered chips in the stack are better binned and from there on it's simply silicon lottery on whether or not you can overclock better. Lotta factors with that one.

Noah0302 got a reaction from Jason 57 in Dedicated streaming PC for 1080p 60fps
Well, I think that the best way to stream is with NVENC on the Nvidia RTX cards, way less performance loss than rendering on the CPU in my experience, unless you have something like a Ryzen 5900x.
But it should work on your i5 aswell

Thank you!

Noah0302 reacted to GorujoCY in MSI GTX 1660 SUPER Ventus XS OC as budget Video editing GPU?
video editing, especially in 4k doesnt need that much gpu muscle to handle, most of the load will be transferred to the cpu. is it possible to find around a gtx 1050 ti or gtx 1650 at lower prices? also rx 500 gpus will do the video editing job well... (starting from rx 560 or probably rx 550 but the 550 isnt too guranteed to handle 4k video editing) if you can find one.

Noah0302 reacted to AnirbanG007 in MSI GTX 1660 SUPER Ventus XS OC as budget Video editing GPU?
You could easily get away with using a 1650 or a 1650 super for a budget video editing station. If however, the 1660 super is all you can buy right now, it would obviously be great for 4k video editing for gpu accelerated workflows, but also, if he chooses hardware encoding using the Nvidia Encoder (nvenc), assuming he uses Adobe Premiere Pro, the additional CUDA cores would very much come in handy.
If by any chance, he uses Da Vinci Resolve, it would also prefer a faster GPU as it is more GPU focused than Premiere.

Noah0302 got a reaction from metaleggman in 3060 Ti + 550 watt power supply, is it enough?
My entire system with an 8700k 5GHz OC and a 3090 OC uses about 450W while gaming measured at the wall outlet. I think you will be fine with your psu

Noah0302 reacted to LordWk in My 3600MHz ram runs at 1329Mhz
Its running at its default DDR4 stock speed.
You have to go to BIOS, an activate the XMP / DOCP Profile for your rams.
Its DOUBLE-DATA-Rate, so Speccy will give you half the speed. In this case its running at 2666MHz which is stock DDR4 speed. Your RAM needs DOCP / XMP profile to be activated to achive the 3600MHz. And speccy will show you that is running at ~1800MHz.

Noah0302 reacted to Fasauceome in Computer randomly shuts down & reboots while gaming.
the motherboard could also be the problem, or even an issue with the wall power. it's not 100% sure that it's the PSU, but that is the most likely culprit.

Noah0302 reacted to Stahlmann in [POLL] About your Cyberpunk 2077 experience
How was your Cyberpunk experience so far? I' just glad the game is finally here and i didn't encounter any gamebreaking bugs myself. I enjoy the game very much and played for ~40 hours until today. Even if it is quite buggy, i enjoy this game like no other release since Witcher 3. I'd like to know about your experience so far and if the bugs stopped you from enjoying the game.
Until now the bugs are the only reason i wouldn't call this game a masterpiece.
Also: Mantis blades are OP AF.
@Mods Sorry if the poll is in the wrong section. I wanted to post in the PC Gaming section, but the question is also meant for console gamers.
NO SPOILERS PLEASE!

Yes, Ive slept some hours haha
The game is not as long as Witcher 3 though. At least W3 took me way longer

Already finished the main story and 3 1/2 of the sidecharacter stories.
Had some bugs, but I was able to fix them with reloading a save. For example that some NPC were missing that I had to talk to and generally cars that bug through everything
Im quite happy with the game, but not as good as I expected.
But I REALLY love the Characters, like

Userbenchmark, the website that says i3 is better than thread ripper?
I would look for other sources
But the C2Q supports both ddr2 and ddr3, so you'll have to look into that as well
My guess: i3 better in single thread, C2Q in multi

Noah0302 reacted to Ashley xD in iPhone 6s goodbye review - 2020
Introduction
It’s been almost exactly a year since I’ve bought my iPhone 6s, and for a €130 phone at the time it’s served me very well, although it’s now getting replaced with an iPhone SE. this will be a reflection on the past year using this phone and the reasons why i'm upgrading.
Why did I stop using it?
Basically, it started developing faults. The silencer switch is broken, the touchscreen messes up sometimes and you have to lock the phone and unlock it to make it behave, the touchid forgets my fingerprints relatively quickly for some reason and worst of all the lightning port has become very loose.
Now, some of these things have been present (in less severe occurrences) since I’ve had it, but it’s gotten to the point where it can be irritating to use it sometimes.
Especially the charging port thing. My phone lays next to my pillow at night playing YouTube video’s, and I’ve had the charging port stop working in the middle of the night a few times now, causing the battery to die and my alarm not going off in the morning, which obviously causes issues.
Was it still good besides the faults?
Yeah. If it didn’t develop the faults it has I would not have replaced it. Mind you, it’ll still be a secondary device. I’m still gonna use it for YouTube in bed and stuff, it just won’t be my alarm clock anymore for obvious reasons. It will also be used for random apps that I don’t want on my main phone for clutter/storage reasons and I’ll probably use it for bluetooth music playback and stuff when I go out so I don’t strain my SE’s battery too much. It’s gonna basically be an iPod Touch for me now. And for that it’s still fine. It still feels speedy and responsive during most tasks, it’s certainly not annoyingly slow.
Is the 6s still a good buy in 2020?
Yes, if you can find one for cheap and it’s not faulty. It’s still fast enough for most uses, and with a new battery it still lasts a decent while. Avoid the 16gb model though, it’s useless.
Conclusion
I’ve really enjoyed using this phone for the past year, and if I didn’t have a good opportunity to upgrade (got a new phone contract with an SE) I wouldn’t have replaced it, but instead got the lightning port fixed. But, since I had the opportunity to upgrade I thought I might as well.
Still though, this is a great phone still and the last iPhone with a headphone jack, which I’m sure matters to some people, and still a good buy if you find one for a very good price.

I loved my 6s until the mobile antenna started acting up. Since the X just came out and the repair would be expensive, I upgraded rather than fixing it.
I also would not have replaced it if it wasnt broken
