for the ssd recommendation, i agree didn't cross my mind, ill go for the Samsung 870 EVO SSD 500GB as for the psu i choose a 850 instead of 750 since the price difference is negligible 155.63$ --> 189.24$ same with the motherboard for some weird reason the board i choose goes for 278$ while the wide variety of b550 go for 210-220$ and there is not any specific reason i choose it, just the first best thing i found

Budget (including currency): 1200-1500$ US Country: Norway, but doesn't really matter Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Recording pc, no streaming involved, its gonna be running a capture card and share the screen to obs Other details: no peripherals suggestions needed, its only gonna be recording 1080p -> 1440p max, I already got a RTX 2070 Super so no GPU is needed, here is a list i made myself, would this be sufficient or would you change anything?

i did use DDU like a couple weeks ago for another issue, but that only semi worked for that issue not for this current one, and by saying chipset drivers which do you mean? is there a way to only reinstall windows with new settings and drivers etc, but keep all the folders and apps? -
(title) sometimes i cant alt-tab out of anything or even use it normally, my windows logo and search bar are unusable they just dont work, some programs that i have open on the taskbar dont want to work, like for example i click a already opened notepad icon on the task bar and it just lights up orange and does nothing another thing i noticed is, if i open a game when windows is in this states the display mode will get f'ed up. what i mean by this is, if i open a game that has had settings done before and it was set to fullscreen, it opens in windowed, and when i go to settings, it

i've got the 2070 super but i dont expect to run games 4k with acceptable fps, i will be playing on 2560x1440p at most, atleast for fps games i will do exceptions for singleplayer games, but this should not be an issue in some times worth since i got a order for the 3090 i unfortunately picked the one with the least amount of stock the site i purchased from has had every single other type of 3090 restocked multiple times but not mine im so unlucky. and i will mess around with the edit you did, if i dont like the black bars, ill just settle on the 27" i was gonna get another 34" either way but
-
i can't accept black bars unfortunately, and i don't actually plan to stream i want to record and only record, would my only option be getting a 27" monitor and capture on that? and if you know anything about monitor is the one i listed in the post good?
-
ok i dont know if this is the correct sub forum, but i am having issues with obs squishing the image, that's the best way to describe it. i have a 3440x1440 34" monitor and i want to record with 1920x1080 in obs i have tried setting the base to my normal resolution but then the problem is black bars. when i have it like this i have an issue with ingame settings. when i play with 1920x1080 fullscreen i get the image to look how i want but the game looks shit but when i put it in 3440x1440 my recording looks squished and f

thanks for the info, ill give that a watch right now

so lets say i have a extremely fast target in a shooter game would my aim become more accurate because i have more up-to-date image?
-
a quick question i have on my mind, is there any benefit to more fps in games when your monitor is only 144? does 300 do anything different?

yeah i do have money to spare on audio equipment, what preamp would you recommend i know of a few, the cloudlifter cl-1, dm1 dynamite and mcboost but i do not know which one is the better alternative
-
what audio interface is a good one? i've heard the name scarlett thrown around. if i had to choose i would set a maximum price of 500$ US for a interface something really good with a nice quality build
