The DSLR market has been shrinking for a while now and is going to keep shrinking.

    From 2014: https://www.eoshd.com/photo/market-dslrs-shrinking-dramatically-canon-nikon-blame/

The fact that most people are happy with the good enough camera's that are on phones is one of the factors shrinking this market. I don't think its going to kill it tho. Its going to become a specialized market instead of a general consumer market. Hell think of the last time you went to a tourist spot, most of them are using their phones, not a point and shoot or a DSLR.

My Pentax K series still kills it compared to an Iphone 11 or Oneplus 8.

I've had no issue with the drivers for my 5700 XT.

Physically though I've done the following:
tighten one loose screw on the cooler bracket. it was quite loose. recently removed the piece of metal in between the 2 slots needed for the 5700 XT. It was in the way of one of the exhaust. This has dropped the temps to normal levels and the fans are quite less noisy.

Huawei has been in the server world for a while now, selling mostly in asian markets, so this would be their entry in the PC market. It looks like they are targeting the Entreprise side of things. The LOM port seems to be a SFP+ port but I am having issues find the documentation on it.

With China going away from American made computers and computer parts, these Huawei PC's would fill in the gap.

    Personal note:
With better drivers in the future and Undervolting we should be able to get some nice boost from the RX 5700 series. A bit like the Vega 56, which started low and ended high. Getting a partner RX should make this even more appealing as cooling will be exponentially better.

When you really begin to regret buying Radeon VII early..I could have really done with this because it looks great. That division 2 bit at the end is SO sharp, I couldn't believe what I was watching. Nvidia have spent a bucket load on the blurfest known as DLSS and AMD just release a simple sharpening algorithm and beat it.

I might trade my Radeon VII down the line for the new Navi flagship (5950 XT or whatever it'll be called) because that feature is tasty.

Navi is just getting better and better. Anti-lag and Radeon sharpening have both exceeded expectations and aren't what we thought they were going to be. If it weren't for the blower cooler, they'd have knocked this out of the park.

I think it has more to do with their chips varying alot in power requirements. They'll try to strike the best voltage/frequency balance for all cards but that'll mean there will be some cards that require less voltage that will benefit more from undervolting and other cards requiring more voltage that will benefit more from overvolting. Then you'll have those cards where the gpu power requirements are right in line with what AMD defaults it to, meaning you lost the lottery for extra self discovered performance if you get one of those

The reason we don't see this with Nvidia is because they have so many different SKUs of a specific chip so undervolting and overvolting is alot less striking.
