  1. I'm currently using a redragon kumara with clicky blue switches and I don't really like it. I kind of hate it actually. The key are too easy to press, offer little tactile feedback and are annoyingly loud. I'd like to have firmer, quieter switches that have the tactile bump at the very top of the stroke. I want the keys to feel like a tiny glass rod is snapping with each press, like a good rifle trigger. Is there a keyboard out there that gives that feel? I think my keyboard has swappable switches, so loose switches is an option too.
  2. I just got done with my cpu/cooler upgrade. Went from a Ryzen 3000G with the stock cooler to a 3600 with a 240mm Liquid Freezer II. The left fan shroud is actually touching the top of the block without putting any force on it. It just kind of slots in there.
  3. Thanks, guys! I think I'll go with the 3600 and use the money I'm going to save on a nice cooler. Or maybe a case with good airflow.
  4. Budget (including currency): $200 - $300 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Racing sims, Bethesda titles, Diablo 4. Other details: EVGA 550w psu ASRock B450M Pro4 Ryzen 3000G overclocked to 3800MHz @ 1.35V 16GB (2 x 8GB) G.SKILL Ripjaws V 3200MHz EVGA RTX 2060 (KO? It just says rtx 2060) pos enermax hotbox I need some advice on what cpu to get. I've been holding off, waiting for the Ryzen 5 5600X and accompanying BIOS update. But is it even worth waiting for a 5000 series? Or would something like a 3600X
  5. I ended up at 360 and change for everything I bought. I saved a few more dollars after returning the hdd for a lower capacity, slightly cheaper ssd. The 3000g was also a little cheaper than the incompatible one I originally got. Its almost done. Just need my ssd. If anybody has some cable management tips lmk. That 4+4 power cable and the front intake fan wires are bugging me.

I hit my goal of staying under $450. Is there anything I'm missing?
  7. I got everything on the op, but just canceled the cpu and got the 3000g. The mb is compatible with ryzen according to the newegg info on it.
  8. Edit: athlon 3000g it is Thanks for the heads up, guys. I'm still learning.

A stable 30fps-1080 is fine for now. I'm not going to be too picky if I'm only playing single player and retro games. I kno
  10. I was thinking about the 2200g. as much as I would like to save a little money, I also want a decent gaming experience. I can't seem to find gameplay footage of skyrim or fallout 4 using that apu, though, and I don't want to risk getting a slide show level drop every time things start getting good. any advice on ram? I read on a few different sites that apu builds will perform noticeably better with lots of ram, while its not such a big deal if you're running a graphics card. Is that true?
  11. I'm looking into building my first PC. It's going to be a super budget minded dedicated gaming rig, pretty much for only the fallout and elder scrolls franchises. They're the only games I like anymore. anyways, I was thinking a ryzen 5 2400g apu paired with an overclockable b350 mb. Will these work well together? I know I'll be relegated to low settings at 30fps, but the crypto mining craze is bound to ease up sometime. I can just get a decent gpu then. Any recommendations or general advice is appreciated.
