Can't work in the M.2 slot but you can get an M.2 to SATA adapter and use the Evo like a normal 2.5" SSD

R5 1500x overclocking success on stock cooler?
Fasauceome replied to Yasthir's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
1.4 is a lot of volts for a modern processor, I'm not the least bit surprised that the CPU isn't stable with the stock cooler. -
b550 is a good option for you then. I think the B450 is overpriced in comparison.
-
are these your only 2 options? if so, what price is each one at?

Gamer Girl PC, looking for suggestions
Fasauceome replied to Fasauceome's topic in New Builds and Planning
one arctic fan as a stealthed exhaust would be nice, my original plan was to slap a single RGB fan on the CPU and two as intake but that can change easily. I looked at that CPU cooler you linked but availability seems like the main concern. Not a big fan of UpHere products but cheap fans do have their appeal, hard to mess up something so basic. -

I showed her the Yeston stuff and she really liked them overall, the galax options look amazing but I have had a really hard time finding listings for them online. I could get the Yeston stuff but for a pretty large markup, we'll see if they spread more into the states in the future. Painting would be a lot of fun, I've painted cases in the past and I think it looks great. I agree this white and pink parts selection really does add a lot of extra cost, but for the intended use it seems to be worth it. -
Keyboard frame shocks me, static buildup or power issue?
Fasauceome replied to pokemoncrusher1's topic in Troubleshooting
might help. but you can also discharge by grabbing a large metal object from time to time. Metal shelf or table legs, chair base, anything that's nearby could be convenient. Even the case of the PC is grounded to your electrical outlet so touching your PC is a good way to discharge. -

her demands are quite low (phasmaphobia, team fortress 2, etc) and damn, is it hard to find a white graphics card for a reasonable price. That will come in later. The 2200G is from a friend of ours so hey, if the price is right all off one ARGB header? promising. I think the current plan of the case+fans so far will work nicely, I have some RGB strips lying around somewhere I can toss in probably. can't pass on a deal like that. wireless is good, that lilac mouse for only $40 seems nice I dunno the Warhawk RGB diffusers look kinda coo -

well, you might be having a particularly dry winter. less moisture means electric charge is more likely to jump off your skin and onto metal around your house. -

The USB drive itself might have a short, or one of the ports has a short inside it.

Is it cold right now where you live? static charge on the body is super common when the weather is colder, and happens all the time near metal objects. Especially if you walk around on carpet. -
well, are you doing a custom desk case or are you buying one of the high end options from someone like Lian Li?
