Almost all games crashing with new RTX 3070
Fasauceome replied to Figloalds's topic in Graphics Cards
do you know the model? -
200 watts for the 3060 ti, less than 100 for the 2600X, that leaves 200 for the rest of the system, it's plenty.
-
if you can get your hands on one, it's also a good option
-
running a server isn't the same as playing the game, and it's not gonna push your phenom to the limit
-
Is it a normal nuc or did you modify it? by the way, you can double click the images and edit their size, they're a little large.
-
I don't know who ragnorak is but I've seen plenty of users that have done a core 2 quad server and it worked just fine. Not hosting 30 people and a dozen mods? no problem for an old CPU. and if you are looking to host a massive, complex server, that ivy bridge i7 isn't gonna cut it either.
-
you can use any CPU as a minecraft server. got an old core 2 quad and a couple friends? boom, server.
-
If you just like the processors, then don't even ask if you should buy them. Just buy them. But, don't buy them thinking it's a good deal.

Intel Iris Xe video cards now shipping to OEMs, DG1 lands in desktops
Fasauceome replied to illegalwater's topic in Tech News
gotta have something for that 10700F that doesn't have an iGPU /s their plan is to stitch together multiple slow units into one fast unit, the way AMD does it with cores. I guess they'll ramp the designs up over time. -
is microcenter your only option? If you're shipping from online, these parts are available in lots of places
-
Is there a question here?
-
Are you adding a mini PC to your current setup or replacing your PC with a smaller PC that is also better at streaming? Dedicated streaming PCs are not a good solution anyway, not when stuff like this exists https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Capture-Certified-Through-Nintendo/dp/B08J5MQ6D3 There are also plenty of PCIe options for streaming, EVGA makes one of those as well if I recall.

Can't work in the M.2 slot but you can get an M.2 to SATA adapter and use the Evo like a normal 2.5" SSD

R5 1500x overclocking success on stock cooler?
Fasauceome replied to Yasthir's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
1.4 is a lot of volts for a modern processor, I'm not the least bit surprised that the CPU isn't stable with the stock cooler.
