  1. One of the SSD drives over SATA was not working. I figured it out by trying to have one drive plugged in at a time over SATA, instead of all the SSD's plugged in.
  2. Yeah, worked for about 3-4 days while i transferred files over, worked perfectly with the GTX 970 as the GPU, and was displaying output, and showing up on the network, and when I turned it off to add the last 2 hard drives that held the old data, it stopped working, at which point I tried the Radeon 580 and 5670

  4. Im having a small technical issue. Im running Manjaro, which is Arch based, so i donwloaded the folding stuff through the AUR, and set it up, according to the guide, but im not able to get any Work units. Is anyone else having this issue? Any advice would be helpful. 5. I am really interested in Volunteering this year, and have booked my travel already. Hopefully i get accepted in May,
  6. Has anyone tried setting this up with a desktop as the hub? Would a GPU help with video encoding, or if i had something like a ryzen 5 2600x, would that work alright as a hub?
  7. And thanks, @Elektra57 for putting together the Hotel list. I was just about to start searching for a place to stay, so i really appreciate it.
  8. Anyone look into flights yet? I was using google flights. Current price for Aug 6th - Aug 10th is about $300-350, but i was hoping for other websites to use, to check for the best price.
  9. Booths about OS's other than Mac and Windows would be interesting. I wasnt there last year, but i would be very interested in OS/2 and Linux booths where they talk about how to set stuff up, and customize it, and the experience of it.
  10. Id be down. I got a couple ideas.

  12. Hey guys, Austin Here. Just joking. Its Ethan. I live in the bay area, and was hoping someone who's driving up to LTX has an open seat in their car, or private plane (if anyone has a private plane, and is flying to LTX out of San Jose, please respond). I can help chip in for gas money.
  13. At least its a learning experience for a potential LTX2020.
