This is totally unpractical on a 1.2 mm FR4. 0.93 mm track width by itself and then the additional spacing makes it like 5 mm.
With 4 layer PCB this isn't a problem as the groundplane is much closer.

Can I get away with like 110-120 Ohm?

Still wondering on how the commercial available keyboard PCBs route USB on a two layer PCB.
    three option I have found:
    1. ignore specification
    2. 0.8 mm PCB with 0.5 mm trace width
3.. colanar waveguide instead of microstrip: https://eng.libretexts.org/Bookshelves/Electrical_Engineering/Electronics/Microwave_and_RF_Design_II_-_Transmission_Lines/03%3A_Chapter_3/3.8%3A_Co-Planar_Waveguide

    for
    1. if it works fine but still not ideal
    2. works but:
2.1 my PCB at the moment is anyway not higher then a USB typ-A connector so going thinner doesn't make it thinner
2.2. soldering the LEDs vertically in the PCB get's more difficult as 1.6 mm would be ideal for this
    3. Sounds like fun.

    Time to start the puzzle:

I should go through it and remove everything which isn't needed. 401 parts although a lot of them are capacitor, configuration resistors or test points. Also those 2.54 mm are just to large. Maybe SMD will cut it as it frees up the underside. Alternatively going from 0603 to 0402 should help.

It gets better in the text:

At least they say it might change which is good and sad at the same time that it needed this incident. It will be interesting to see how well this will works once established:

Any recommendations for any other backup solution upto 30€ per licence? Maricium asks a whopping 63€. Just a solid backup software non of the other rubbish like blockchain, AI, anti virus, etc.

Should I include USB-PD instead of two cables?
Should I include a card reader?
    Should I include a typ-C downstream?
    ....
To make it short: Yes is expensive. No is free.

So unless I find new magic IC/chip there won't be a card reader, USB 3.0, USB Typ-C downstream (only upstream tpy-c as it is simpler) and no USB-PD. This thing is already complicated enough for a Keyboard controller with a USB Hub, 3 µC, battery management and surroundings.

USB-C is fascinating and way to complicated. (insert a list of large to medium size companies not compiling with the specification e.g. Raspberry foundation, Oppo/OnePlus, Asus, etc.)

    Why does it matter now?
GL823 out of stock (could just desolder it from one of my card readers ...).
Next best IC at the moment: Alcor Micro AU6350-MFL
    downside: 2 USB 2.0 + SD card
the good thing and solution: I can apparently still have a third USB port and it is even a passthrough!
the best thing: I expect MSI doing the same on the B350 mate as this is a budget mainboard.
the worst: It won't work on standard complaint ports.
the right way: using a different IC or combining something like a Alcor Micro AU6268-JES-GR with a CoreChips SL2.1A

also sadly this connector is out of stock:

Orange, black and blue is available but I love this type: drill two holes in the back. Solder two LEDs vertically in the PCB and you have a illuminated bright green, low profile USB port.
