  1. Was randomly going through old videos on the LTT channel and saw an old unfinished car on a thing... just curious as to what happened to that car and was it a project of some kind?
  2. You'd be surprised how many collectors there are that do mod old systems... you may not know many but there's a bunch of OG Xbox's selling on places like Ebay these days. If I knew how to solder properly and was able to obtain "Flux" easily in my region... sure but that's not a viable solution... hence the topic
  3. Hi, Just curious if anyone has ever seen or been able to remap the OG Xbox controller bindings without "Hard Modding" the controller's right analog stick. The reason I want to remap them or at least remap the right analog stick is due to most games of that era forcing inverted controls onto the player... and like many MANY people I find inverted to be an unpleasant experience or an unplayable experience. It's not like it is today where games allow you to invert the controls from the menu back then it was either forced inverted without options to revert... in
  4. After a clean driver install with DDU it seems that the freezing during general use is gone but still stuttering in games... might be an issue with the Display Driver maybe? Going to do a clean install of Windows on another drive now.
  5. All drivers are updated and don't use the Intel graphics at all.
  6. I'm still using the old monitor but yeah I agree it shouldn't be an issue... but the old one (plus a second monitor) were both 60Hz... the new one is 144hz. Will try setting it to 60Hz as a test. Yeah I can try another SSD for now. Will report back later tonight.
  7. Yeah That was something I was running before hand... not related to removing the update. Sorry. EDIT: Will reply back to this thread in about an hour or so with findings related to that Windows update. Nope still froze with the KB4515384 update uninstalled + temp blocked from being reinstalled and restarted. A little over an hour in from reboot and same issue...
  8. Uninstalled that update, also tried running LatencyMon... here's a screenshot.
  9. Think there was some Cumulative Update or whatever it is... a bunch here
  10. Over the past little while or so I've noticed my computer stutter or freeze for short periods of time (and started to get worse over the last week when I introduced a new monitor + the below updates), now this may be related to things listed or a hardware issue. Hoping that someone can help me diagnose whichever it may be. Not sure what's going on here but I've done a few things since this issue started. 1. Updated monitor to a 144Hz display 2. Updated to latest NVIDIA driver 3. Updated BIOS 4. Updated Chipset Driver Unsure as to w
  11. Holy moley that is professional. I'll definitely take a look at that. Thank you kindly.
  12. But warping is the best bit haha. Thanks for the tips mate. We'll see what happens. It's fine if I ruin it it's just a temp case for now anyway for a second rig.
  13. Sounds similar to how I was thinking, I was just going to cut a window out and screw some acrylic on the inside of the side panel. To block off or make the gap flush I was going to use some car window trim... not sure if that's a good idea yet but we'll see. Hopefully get the stuff I need this week and get to work. Will update this thread when it's completed
  14. I'm curious to see if anyone else has experienced this issue before... So after upgrading to Windows 10, not sure if it's the culprit, I've noticed when I boot into Windows there's 3 things that could happen. 1. It successfully boots 2. Explorer struggles to load and i'm unable to use any programs 3. Everything seems to load fine but programs take forever to load?\ Has anyone experienced this before? It's difficult to say if it's my SSD failing/struggling, though Hard Disk Sentinel reads no errors, or a mix of RAM and CPU going bad... I'm not sure.
