    Depends on your country.

Like here in Australia other proof of purchase can be used for warranty. Like entry in a POS system, records of serial numbers, shipment dates or warehouse picking slips, bank transfers etc. can be considered for warranty to establish proof of purchase.

https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/prices-surcharges-receipts/receipts-proof-of-purchase#:~:text=credit or debit card statement, and amount of the purchase&text=a copy or photograph of the receipt.

Have often had things repaired where the manufacturer just looks up the serial number and goes off that or had a gift with no receipt but knew the place of purchase and it was looked up on the POS system.

The Prime 1000 Ultra Titanium has the old OCP circuit, which can trip on high wattage Ampere video cards.  These PSU's are 2016-2018 era.
The Prime TX-1000 has the revamped OCP Circuit which is stable with these cards.  These are 2019+ Era.  The TX-1000 is the one you want.

What the crap are these people talking about...

The Prime TX is the newer version, but there shouldn't be any difference between them, other than the name. The question is, why would you want the old one...?

Business man have been using bluetooth headset for ages

The only cancer they got was their attitude

As justified above, the sun is a far more harmful object in term of radiation, not to say there's no benefit as there's also the need for vitamin D and what not, but you get the point

Proving something doesn't happen is harder to prove something does, so you can use the past as evidence
Was there a huge spike in cancer cases (per diagnosis, because more diagnosis = more cancer cases, so you need to take the probability of that) a few years after bluetooth headset was introduced?

artuc reacted to mariushm in 14 years later, and the capacitor plague claims another victim.
It's not necessarily capacitor plague, those seem to be Panasonic capacitors, not sure about the series, seems like FM series, which were not manufactured with bad electrolyte, never had those issues.
It looks more like just capacitors being degraded due to heat (being so close to the heatsink of the cpu) and maybe due to less than ideal input voltage from an aging power supply.... and dell or whoever made this board getting cheap and not installing enough capacitors to handle the currents (you can see footprints for more capacitors, they just didn't populate those to save half a dollar)

If those 1000uF capacitors on the 12v line are KZG series, they must be replaced as well ... that's one of the series with problem electrolyte (not due to capacitor plague, united chemi con didn't steal a faulty electrolyte formula, it's just a ultra low esr formula that's not very stable and can degrade over time much faster than other less performance capacitor series.

The breaker is protecting the house wiring not end devices.

You can get faults that supply a lot of current for the device, but the draw from the mains is still typical and below the trip point.

On tractor hoppers and tanks they often use ultrasonic detectors, basically ultrasonic soundwaves that the sensor detects the delay of the echo as the volume changes, usually mounted up top downfiring. Essentially it measures the distance to the solid/liquid, you calibrate it to suit your readings at different capacities and off you go.

Actually it mentions high grade silica sand as well. You can bet if there is a scarcity of construction grade sand there is going to be shortages of high purity mineral sands.

It's not a hoax, it is widely reported on, there are many sources.

Mainly though I was just trying to highlight your complete ignorance in dismissing even the source material as something completely trivial. Just because it is abundant doesn't mean it is abundant in forms suitable and widely available and viable to use for silicon production.

Your ignorance extends through the entire process including the foundries and fab process.

The crucibles even need a high purity quartz..

artuc got a reaction from Silversong in why you SHOULDN'T buy a Seasonic Focus (Plus) (Gold/Platinum)
The RM/x is considered slightly better due to a better fan and the protection issues previously on the Seasonics. Might be more if anyone chips in.

Depends on what's available locally, here at that price/performance usually the RM is the most expensive so you need to weigh that up as some may be nearly as good but much better value etc.

Typically I recommend as available locally here:

    Corsair RM/RMx
    Seasonic Focus/Focus Plus
NZXT C Series (Seasonic Focus platform)
    Fractal ion+
    Bitfenix Whisper M

It depends a lot on what's available and pricing/specials

Here you can quite often buy something cheap from China posted for less than a stamp would cost.

Basically China gets subsidised postage to other countries and also often dropships direct or consolidates large consignments to then dispatch within the destination country.

Yeah I'm just more worried about transfer from handling it and not always having access to wash up after. Plus kids exposure limits are way lower than adults.

Can't speak to how accurate it is, but believe that is a typical phone handset pinout. So I believe the adaptor would breakout to the sockets instead of hardwired.
