First off, I'd like to thank Computer Lounge for helping to make this build possible, I've been shopping with them for over 5 years now and they've won Pricespy's store of the year award 4 years running now, so they must be doing something right.

Down to business.

My desktop has been causing me some issues over the past 6 months or so.
Motherboard randomly disconnects USB ports.
EVGA 970 ACX causing BSOD's and random crashes in game
Due to the archive drive hole spacing, HDD's can only screw in the rear half which made them not overly stable during transport.

Did a few upgrades in the space of 1-2 months.

Samsung 512GB 950 Pro
Added a 3rd 8TB Archive drive and due to the file cluster size being too small I had to format my drives to increase the volume size beyond 16TB, tried a few tools but none worked.
After my 970 started throwing up issues more often, I RMA'd it, sold the replacement and bought a Windforce 980ti

Planned to use a point and shoot but the batteries died part way though a different build log and I don't have spares, used my 6P and haven't had time to fiddle with settings so apologies for the not particularly great pictures.

I'm aware it's not like some of the completely nuts builds but this is a fairly attainable build, at least in the aesthetic sense

After a Discussion with @Hackentosher I'll be plasti-dipping the GPU shroud orange along with the PCI-e slot covers and possibly the blank RAM sticks.

It's kinda painfully obvious the biggest problem people have isn't that you have an exclusive show... Come on now, you know that. 
 
There's literally been thousands of comments on how "you broke your word"  Be it technically correct or not.

A lazy filler video is a lazy video. Don't try to play it off.
Putting a GPU in a PC doesn't deserve a 5 minute video, it deserves a 20 second segment like they've done in past build guides

I can't believe how many of you are actually just blindly defending them for putting out (let's be real) lazy and badcontent.
 
At the end of the day, their job is to entertain. They don't need new products to come out, they haven't run out of ideas.
 
They just don't have the time to make entertaining videos. Now whether or not that's OK is debatable, they just accepted a deal of a new show that's gonna (has already) require(d) time and man power, they're filming scrapyard wars.
But it's currently the reason why it looks like they're running out of ideas.
 
Does that excuse bad content? Nope. It sure as hell shouldn't.
 
They're playing a dangerous game right now, pissing off their current viewers to make entertaining content in the future.
The biggest problem is, that they're really just delaying the inevitable right now. It's gonna happen again, they won't have the time, and they're gonna catch a lot of flack again. 
 
It'll most likely only last a couple of times before people get sick of it. 
 
They're getting backlash that they in all honesty deserve. 
 
Of course they can't please everyone, but if they don't get honest feedback, the channel won't last.

This is probably the most important point that people seem to be avoiding. 
 
It doesn't matter how they try to spin it at this point, whether or not they own the series. They fucked up.
The man didn't word it wrong, he just changed his mind and made a liar out of himself. Time and time again he insisted that he wouldn't do paid-exclusive videos.
 
Vessel however didn't make a liars out of anyone, the creators could turn it down if they wanted too. They're not going bankrupt without this money they're gonna be making now. They just plain old lied. 

I never said i wouldn't. I don't blame him for taking the chance at all. I blame him for lying. 

I meant every word I said, but I didn't consider us being hired by someone else as a production house to be LMG content at the time of making the deal with Vessel.
 
I never thought to clarify that the content we produced for other entities was separate from the content we made by ourselves because we'd never made something for a separate entity that (frankly) I thought anyone would want to watch anyway.
 
The truth is that I should have communicated better at the time (but my crystal ball told me LMG would never be more than 5 people working out of a house, so..) and that I should have proactively told my community - who obviously cares so much about this or they wouldn't bother sharing their concerns with me - that we were negotiating this and shooting it.
 
So the situation changed - someone paid us to make something GOOD instead of something to promote their brand or whatever - and I wasn't considerate enough to keep my community abreast of the situation. This is what I'm trying to address by answering as many of these questions as I can in this thread.

For real tho, if i were you i'd probably try going the retro route... GTA 3, Vice city and San Andreas are all fun and cheap, and should be able to run on your pc...

Depends on what the problem is, i wouldn't count on it working again unless you're an expert with a soldering iron tho
