You can populate them all without disabling any on that board.

I don't see any indications in the manual that any ports get disabled with all occupied.

Download from MS because then it has all latest updates applied. A disc will most likely be outdated.

keskparane got a reaction from Tristerin in Need help figuring out how to wire this PSU molex on/off switch
It appears the switch is on the 12V line and all other connections are normal.
So you need to remove the 5V line (red).
Swap the switched 12V line (yellow) to the 5V pins. Best done by rehousing the pins if you can.

You will then need either 5V fan or add a relay that can switch the 12V off the 5V signal.
I suppose you could also just put the relay on the 12V to switch the 5V

Or you could purchase a DPST switch and switch both sides at the same time.

This. If any of the bits were 1 in both numbers the operation would return true even if the numbers are different. Read Sauron's post.

At a guess I would say 1 & 3 are normally closed and 2 & 4 are normally open and that the 2 in the middle are for the light.
At a closer look I realize what I thought I saw and based my guess on isn't there.

What you probably have there is pressure from the rear io pushing the board against that edge.
Place your fingers along the front edge. Parallel to the ram.
Apply some pressure backwards towards the rear io. Watch to see if the screw mounts center in their holes.
Then while keeping the back pressure gently apply some lifting pressure.

keskparane got a reaction from Haro in is it harmfull to set cpu fan speed at 100% all the time ?
    Pros:
Better cooling. (Although often 100% fan is overkill)

    Cons:
    More noise.
    Accelerated wear of fan.
    Faster dust build up.

That's not a PWM controller. That's a PWM hub. It just splits a single PWM into 4 identical outputs.
