Airdragonz got a reaction from The_Other_Cody in VPN recommendation?
Currently use ProtonVPN. They have a free tier without data caps, albeit slower speeds and limited servers. Or pay for a monthly subscription for access to all servers. Been reliable so far for me.

"Best" is pretty subjective and very much money dependent. What's your budget? Are you looking for active or passive speakers?

I think the fact that no one talks about it is because such a pc would share a lot with gaming PC's. AFAIK (correct me if I'm wrong) you don't need much horsepower for drawing, probably mostly a monitor with good colour reproduction. For blender and stuff you need graphical horsepower and personally I'd get an Nvidia card because of CUDA. The main difference would be that you'd wat more cores rather than a few slow cores, though nowadays you'd more  cores for gaming as well I guess.

Airdragonz got a reaction from TNGengar in Ryzen 3950x v Ryzen 5900x
A 5900x would likely be the better of the two. 12c/24t is more than enough for a game and streaming, especially considering that most games do not take advantage of anything more than 16 threads. Higher IPC and a more mature 7nm process is also a win for the 5900x over a 3950x.

Airdragonz got a reaction from dizmo in Google Assistant vs Alexa?
Any reason why you aren't considering Google's Nest hub? I believe that's on sale for $49 USD currently and pretty much better than the lenovo in every way.

With that aside, also check that all your smart lights/devices can be controlled by either alexa or google assistant. Some lights only work on just alexa or just google. If everything's compatible, it'll really come down to personal preference as both can pretty much do the same thing (such as setting multiple alarms).

Airdragonz got a reaction from Voursx in my rtx 3070 got artifact?
Likely a driver issue or software not optimized issue, assuming you're not overclocked. You could try uninstalling your drivers using DDU, then installing Nvidia's studio drivers to see if that'll help as those are more oriented towards stability for creators.

Airdragonz reacted to jaslion in What 360mm AIO for o11 Dynamic? Mounted the GN way
The ultimate quiet will always be an air cooler as well no pump noise. As for 360 rad arctic liquid freezer and call it a day. Just mount it to the top and don't worry about tube length as indeed the tubes would be too short.

Airdragonz got a reaction from AlwaysWong in My 75" Sony X800H tv has one dead pixel. Should I return it?
If it really bothers you to the point where you'd be willing to package the TV back up and return it, then go for it. Otherwise it's only a single dead pixel that you probably won't notice unless you're looking for it.

Airdragonz got a reaction from Eigenvektor in Ryzen 5000 Launch Day Locations / Ordering
Try checking microcenter if you have one near you, although I would recommend waiting a couple weeks or months. That'll give you time to check reviews and when you do buy, most bugs should be ironed out by then.

Airdragonz got a reaction from Orange1 in Lenovo phone possibly bricked help!
You probably installed something malicious that infected itself into your system or boot partition or something hence why factory reset didn't help. Try flashing a new rom onto your device and see if that helps.

They are the Newegg of photography and videography. Their bread and butter is that (lmg bought their new 12k cameras from there), and they also sell components as well.

Airdragonz got a reaction from Deslumo in CPU / motherboard to match with 3080 RTX
If you could, I'd recommend waiting until Ryzen 5000 series are released in a couple weeks. Even if ryzen isn't something you're after, competition might have intel put their cpu's on sale, especially closer to the holidays.

Airdragonz got a reaction from SpaceGhostC2C in Why are waterblocks so expensive?
You could ask the same question for almost any product out there, not just waterblocks. Same reasoning applies though; you got a niche market with buyers willing to pay exponentially more for diminishing returns. Basically supply and demand.

Airdragonz reacted to Deli in Liquid Metal Between IHS and CPU Block
Typical use Q-tip to spread liquid-metal. You only need so tiny bit to cover the entire IHS. You will be surprised how it can be spread to more and more area with that little bit. But it takes time for the liquid-metal to stick well to the surface. It will take some time, but it will stick after some effort.

Airdragonz got a reaction from Cmptr in Liquid Metal Between IHS and CPU Block
Honestly not really worth doing liquid metal between IHS and block as the surface area of the IHS is much greater than the surface area of the cpu die, hence naturally better heat dissipation as the heat is spread out across a greater area. You'll likely notice a few degrees of temperature difference compared to regular paste. Also note that depending how long the liquid metal remains on the IHS, the serial number and text on the surface of the IHS may come off when removing the liquid metal, thus voiding your warranty.

Airdragonz got a reaction from Deli in Ryzen 9 3900x
It gets the job done, but under full load struggles to keep up. Depending on case airflow, it'll max rpm's with cpu temp hovering in the 90s (at least for me)

Airdragonz got a reaction from Sladey in Should I buy a used 1080 ti in 2020?
A 1080ti might be a bit bottlenecked by your cpu. You should probably wait until AMD announces their Big Navi cards. Even if it's something you don't want, prices on used cards will probably drop a bit after their announcement.
