  1. i settled for this one guys, https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0134EW7G8/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1 opinions ?
  2. https://www.ebuyer.com/662234-g-skill-ripjaws-4-16gb-kit-ddr4-3000mhz-ram-f4-3000c15q-16grr don't worry about it being 4 sticks for now. I don't plan on upgrading the ram for some time. this is the cheapest deal I've found that's in stock and has next day delivery. what do you think to this?
  3. Hi guys, with the newer DDR4 RAM does the CL rating really matter? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For example, I want to update to 16 GB and I have options. cl15 2400 MHz or cl6/c16 3000 Mhz ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- with DDR4 am I going to notice a difference with the latency? thank you in advance. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  4. ooo i do want juice lol. I can stretch the extra for the 3000 MHz I just don't know the price to performance is it worth paying for it. ADATA XPG Z1 2800MHz or Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 Vengeance LPX 3000MHz there's a £40 price difference.
  5. yeah man, I'm quite experienced I just didn't know how the ryzen architecture works. My only problem now is choosing between 3000Mhz or 2800MHz RAM. I'm on a tight budget but didn't know if it's really worth the extra money.
  6. thank mans, I checked the ram and yeah would have been nice but the prices have gone back up.
  7. Yeah, the motherboard can support higher. I was just making sure I didn't cap at the max of the CPU. thank you, buddy
  8. Just a quick one, Will the r5 1600 allow 2800 MHz RAM to run at its full speed or is it really maxed at 2667 MHz?
  9. thank you mate, yeah I was looking at the ASRock Pro 4 and wasn't sure if the Asus Strix was a better option.
  10. thank you fardin, i will definitely settle for that. 1 last thing, I don't have any experience with the new r5 motherboards, is it worth getting a b350 micro atx or the atx form. only reason i ask is due to not wanting to go for a muti GPU in the future however the older micro atx boards such as the am3+ were very bad and the vrm got very hot. does the new gen micro atx fix this or is it still better to go for an atx board. Aesthetics not all important, I don't really care for the RGB on board for this build.
  11. thank you, yeah I see the 1600 much better in real-world applications but in terms of gaming it doesn't perform better than the 8350k right?
  12. oo you mean in terms of multithreading the 1600 would be a much better choice for my compression ect.
