ZcanKal got a reaction from Tech_Dreamer in The return of Kepler (yes really) ASUS relaunching the GT710
Why did they stop at 4 HDMI ports?  Just stack them and get 8.

Never heard of putting Linux on a Blu-Ray player. I had a quick google and there was nothing related to it, only videos of how to play blu-rays on Ubuntu etc. If you were gonna try it (really cool project by the way) you would have to do a lot of research to see what kind of architecture it is and the bootloader etc

Oh, great, one more generation like this and AMD will become Intel Circa 2013.

I only watch videos at 360p most of the time.

ZcanKal reacted to Windows7ge in Can you link two computers directly via Ethernet
All you need to do is setup Static IP addresses on each machine. If windows is running on both they should both automatically receive 169.254.0.0/16 addresses but I'll assume the server address should be static.

Yes you can. Go to networking and sharing center, then click on Ethernet and properties, IpV4 and use the following IP:
for PC N°1 ip address 192.168.0.10 gateway you can set 192.168.0.1 mask 255.255.255.0
for PC N°2 ip address 192.168.0.20 gateway you can set 192.168.0.1 mask 255.255.255.0

Again, as I've said multiple times, we seem to be looking at a repeat of the Pentium 4 era, so another generation or two of mediocrity and then the Core 2 like jump back to performance... I hope.

I usually find the Used market reliable, but I really wouldn't know in the higher end segment of the market.

With a phone that thick, might as well put a 1/4 inch headphone jack on it.
