I wonder why mammals haven't evolved to retain water better. It's like:

body: literally produces more water via cellular respiration

body: literally breathes out water and produces dilute urine

  Yeah, I was thinking about this recently. Why are mammals so careless with water? It's so easy to not have water available that you would think humanity would have had issues getting off its feet.

  We do retain (not me) a lot of water, you can see this for yourself - drink lots of water throughout the day, eat low-sodium clean food, and you will lose water weight, as the body signals not to retain water as much. Usually 1-3kg perhaps?
