Well, if case specs state max cooler height of 155mm, I very much doubt that a cooler that is 163mm will fit.

The lcd or only the front glass?
If you want cheap lcd, try getting it used.

Otherwise just use the original body and just put the new monitor in front of it.

Do they have separate plugs? If so, swap them around on the motherboard and see. If not it'd be the case most likely...

RGB is purely visual and thus subjective. Do you like looking at your PC and seeing lights? Get RGB RAM. Otherwise not.

yes, cases with inverted motherboard trays. it's not the exact way you picture it because the motherboard itself can't be reversed, just flipped upside down, but it achieves the same thing

Lord Mirdalan reacted to Radium_Angel in Is it safe to shop on newegg?
I do it all the time, but I ensure the product is sold and shipped by Newegg. Because like Amazon, they will allow anyone on their site to sell anything they wish, and that invites risk.

hello new member welcome to the forum,
anyways im pretty sure that it benefits more from gpu since its 3d but i could be wrong, anyway i would say a prebuilt might be cheaper in czechia, but i recommend building diy pc, does czechina have shortages aswell on gpu's an how much do instock gpu's cost?

Lord Mirdalan reacted to Prodigy_Smit in 3D modelling pc
I think using the 1050ti for now with a better CPU and more RAM would be better than that prebuilt. Your friend can upgrade the GPU to a 2060 super or similar later after saving up some more money.

Also I think a standardized  table of key features that would appeal to the customer base is also importance (make sure to sort the metrics based on your customer base). Don't be afraid to break the features down to actual use case rather than the technical accurate details (unless if you are not legally allowed to do so, no idea) e,g, Zoom and Skype ready!, Compatibilte with Office! etc. I assume most people come with a particular use-case in mind (e.g. I want to Zoom with my grandchildren).

    Important metrics
Zoom ready? (Webcam & Mic): Yes
    Wi-Fi: Yes
    Battery life: 9 hours
    Weight: 939 g
    Warranty: 2 years

    Details
    Wired Ethernet: No
    DVD-Drive: No
    Floppy-Drive: No

This may be an odd/unique opportunity, but I am curious what your opinions are.  some things to note:
I own a brick/mortar computer repair business. I get a lot of elderly/not techy customers. My computer advertising may not be the best for refurbished systems, and need help improving.
So lets say one of your relatives came to me looking for a computer, and you couldn't be there to help them in the moment.

Currently on each computer for sale I have a little card with the "greek" on it. exactly like:

and I am curious on improving it, as this is good for more techy people like us, this means nothing to someone who thinks a 1Tb hdd is better than a 500gb ssd.

What ideas/suggestions do you all have?  Is there good software that "rates" (or gives multiple ratings would be even better) computers based on hardware performance?

Lord Mirdalan reacted to Arika S in What makes a computer overall faster?
because of this line there is absolutely NO reason to go for a threadripper or i9. stick to something more moderate, either a 5600x or equivalent priced intel i-whatever in your country. even an 5800x would be huge overkill unless you have money to burn.

What specs do you need? Your nas doesn't need to be fast enough to edit video, just to get the video to the workstation

there fairly low end systems, id rather get a supermicro/dell/hp/lenovo system if it was me. Better hotswap bays and more flexible with hardware.

Lord Mirdalan reacted to TargetDron3 in Ineed help to make server
$90k isn't going to cover it.
You are looking at enterprise level equipment for this.  A 4tb flash SAS drive is around $1000. To get to 500TB you're going to need $125,000 in drives alone. If you want to use RAID for redundancy, double or quadruple the amount needed for storage. This doesnt include the server itself.
You don't need an Epyc cpu for this.
A single mid tier Xeon is more than enough.
