GirvanaWantsBinnieBalls reacted to Mateyyy in DDU how to use safe mode without problems
    Here's how I do it:
download the driver you plan on installing (in your case, download the latest from AMD's website) disconnect the network cable (or turn off WIFI if that's your thing) boot into safe mode, run DDU and then restart install the driver you downloaded  plug the network cable back in success I've never had any sort of problems while doing this, like repair loops and such.

    Why don't they go in?
Are there standoffs there? Are they stripped?
Or is the screw not reaching the standoff?
In that case your motherboard may not be laying flat properly.

Also if the cooler isn't weighing a ton, as one upper screw is also bad, it seems.

But yeah, replaciong standoffs is a good idea.

Yeah, and make sure that the center standoff is in properly because that one is usually a stub and not a screw hole.
If that one's not in then you won't be able to screw in other holes without bending the motherboard and breaking it.

As long as you explain the issues that the card is having, you won't be ripping anyone off. There are plenty of people that buy dead or dieing cards to try to resurrect them.

No.  All your Windows files will be in the Windows.old folder, and you'll only have the fresh Windows installation.

Move the necessary files to the HDD, and don't format it when reinstalling. Format just the boot drive, you won't lose any data contained on the HDD this way.

No.  There's only 1 Windows now after your reinstall.

This is also likely.  Try it out before reinstalling for no reason.

Simple. Get a copy of VLC Media Player, and follow this tutorial, and you will be able to convert all the things! If you have a copy of Adobe CC, then I'd use Media Encoder ideally, but if you're looking for a quick easy universal solution, VLC's got you covered.

buddy it's DAC not DEC, it stands for Digital to Analog Converter.

to the OP, Generally speaking a nice DAC and Headphone Amplifier will improve the sound quality, but it's more about finding a DAC with the "sound" you like, some DAC's are known for sounding "richer" others more "natural". the only time you NEED a headphone amp is if you plug in the headphones and they can't get loud enough regardless of how high you turn up the volume, thats when you NEED a headphone amp, if you HAVE to go to like say 3/4 volume to get normal (not blaring) volume levels then a DAC/AMP combo is worth considering, beyond that it's purely about being an "audio snob" and just wanting a certain sound signature from your headphones (I use an Fiio E17k DAC/Amp to drive my HD598's because otherwie I need 3/4 volume for reasonable listening levels and I like the sound signature better).

That's more then enough to drive those headphones. You dont need a external dec/amp for those

This is a microphone amp, a device for using XLR microphones. It won't be of any use for using headphones with your PC. It can be useful if you want to get an XLR amp.

You don't need an AMP with the M40X headphones, they don't require a ton of power to run on your PC, meaning an AMP (which would otherwise 'boost' the signal) is of no use.
Just connect your headphones to your motherboard and either get rid of the Mic amp (sell it) or keep it if you want to get an XLR mic.

I was asking around about what headphones to get and i guy recommended me the m40x Audio Technica
and a thing called ''Behringer U-Phoria UMC202HD'' and looks like this ( image below )
Quite honestly i have no idea what this thing does , i dont know if it boosts my bass or if it gives a cleaner sound or acts like a sound card or waht ever...
Could someone tell me what this thing is usefull for and perhaps if i should just sell it and get sth else?
EDIT: I should mention that i already own both

if you use auto voltage, then whether it works depends on how conservative the motherboard is in voltage.

It depends on the CPU you have. Silicon lottery sets how much voltage it takes for your CPU to be stable. Also, some motherboards by default do all core sync when you use XMP.

For example, I did a build for a friend where he lost the silicon lottery so bad that his 1700 was unstable at stock.
