  1. LOL I remember talking about it in my high school networking class. What a time to be alive!
  2. Summary The Supreme Court has handed Google a win in a decade-old case in software development, holding that the technology giant did not commit copyright infringement against Oracle when it copied snippets of programming language to build its Android operating system. Quotes My thoughts Looks like I still have a job, so thats always nice! 3. I totally forgot PCPP had monitors and was only considering the stuff I was reading in reviews and videos on. Thanks for this I'll into these other options!
  4. Saw an open box deal from Amazon Warehouse for an open box Dell S2721DGF in "Like New" condition for $350 - I'm just looking for 1440p 144hz, don't really need 4k. At this point in time is this probably the best deal I'll be getting for such a monitor? Obviously I can return it with Amazon within the next 30 days, I might still be covered by dells warranty(?) but it will also be covered by my credit cards purchase protection for the next three months so I'm not super worried about quality issues should I run into any. I didn't see anything super eye popping from CES
  5. Well the higher end i7 CPU's of that generation (Like the 6850k which is the tier higher than my current CPU supports a full 40 lanes, both of the CPU's are almost the same in terms of cores and clock speed, but the major difference is the amount of lanes that CPU can support and because of that they priced that CPU at a few hundred dollars higher). So If I can I'd rather just get a Xeon which can do all that but with more cores and a cheaper price haha
  6. I currently have this CPU: https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/94189/intel-core-i7-6800k-processor-15m-cache-up-to-3-60-ghz.html In a Asus X99 Deluxe II(LGA 2011-v3): https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/X99-DELUXE-II/ Over the years I've been doing less and less gaming with more and more workstation, VM, CPU intensive work. One of the main issues I've run into is the lack of PCI-E lanes the CPU supports. My current CPU only runs 28 lanes and with all my additional addon drives and cards in the machine my GPU is running at half the bus speed (8x PCI-E
  7. Welp, seems like Tinder and Match is going out of business. I think tinder will be effected the most as they rely on facebooks platform way too much https://www.cnbc.com/2018/05/01/facebook-is-launching-a-dating-app.html
  8. My friend and I are putting together his new build and we've run into some issues trying to install windows with RAID0. We are attempting this on Windows 10 Pro. What we've done: - Went into bios and enabled raid on the sata option - Configured RAID0 with our 2 drives NOTE: When we turn raid mode off in the bios the two separate drives do show up in the windows 10 installer. when we reboot it shows our raid configuration as one single drive as it should and it shows up in the bios when we boot into the windows installed ou
  9. What if I was just playing on one monitor rather than using all 3. Would that still cause an issue?
  10. Is it possible my card will be able to handle playing games on these monitors? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017EVR2VM/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
  11. Want something that's able to have a lot more room for what I want to do, and also be aesthetically pleasing of course
  12. Does anyone know of any nice looking Full Tower all glass cases? Everything I see is mid tower... Thanks!
  13. Its featured on corsairs instagram post
  14. yeah I planning on hitting the hardware store later today actaully. Its on wheels though too so its not a HUGE issue like it could be haha
  15. Well, I think its done hardware-wise. Is there anything aesthetically I should do(Unless anyone has any hardware recommendations/additions, Im all ears)? I kinda wanted to do a custom loop, but its gonna be a while before I can afford to do so, so I'm going to wait on that option. Currently, have an NZXT Hue+ for my LED Solution, so thats no an issue. Also have all blue BitFenix fans in all fan locations. Im not sure what else I should add, so if anyone has any cool suggestions or anything, that'd be fantastic!
