  1. I changed from my rear audio to front panel. It's much louder. In my audio settings, my max setting is 24 bit 192000khz. Does this mean I won't be able to discern between 192 kbps and 256 kbps audio? Also, my phone has an app called power amp which allows greater customization than my realtek audio software plus the phone has adapt sound 6.0. My motherboard is the Steel legend b450m with realtek alc892 audio chip. I'm wondering if a dac would not improve much if my onboard audio has limited resolution. My pc can play loud enough and no interference is audible.
  2. I connected my Reciever to the mobo directly. Hissing persists. Might be my adapter cable as it is a very cheap cable from Walmart. I probable will go for the K3 since my HD 518s are easier to drive. When I connect them to the reciever, the sound is deeper and sharper, but I can hear a small hiss. Also, my speakers and headphones play simultaneously. It won't work.
  3. The noise is from my reciever. It's a vsx d466s. But its connected through my monitor's audio port through Displayport
  4. I have an old Pioneer 100w Reciever connected to my speaker with a headphone port. Could I connect a dedicated DAC to it? The reciever has some noise coming through.
  5. Thank you guys for your advice. I do not have interference coming from my onboard audio. It's just sounds like I'm playing from a Zune. I am considering the K3. My headphones are not high end, but I am too simple to tell the difference above the quality of 120 dollar headphones. I just want to feel the game with my ears. Both of you were helpful.
  6. I love my Samsung S8's powerful audio. The EQ is flat and am using adapt sound. My Sennheiser HD 518s sounds clear and has a soft kick. Connecting it to my gaming rig, It sounds underwhelming but loud enough. I want more bass and fullness, not necessarily volume. The EQ has some curves to help a little, but my phone handles much better. I'm an average Joe with 100 to spend. What specific device could improve the audio? I game primarily. 7. Nice. I got this from OuterVision too. With 2600 amd 6800XT paired with my exact system specs plus adding a NVME ssd.
  8. What if I decrease GPU power limit of the 6800XT by 17 percent making the max wattage 249? Would that hurt the fps enough making it not worth it over the rtx 3070 or 6800 non XT or would it decrease its lifespan?
  9. What would happen if I decreased the power limit to say 70 percent (of a 6800XT 300w gpu)? I plan on getting a 6800, but if I get the 6800XT and under power it, will it hurt the gpu or my PSU? My current PSU is 650w Evga SuperNova G5 with a R5 2600 PSU. I heard using the 6800XT and a 2600 CPU would be pushing my PSU too hard Would under powering the GPU be a viable solution? I anticipate losing some performance, but would that performance be any better than a 6800 for 80 dollars more until I decide to get a bigger psu or should I settle with the non XT?
  10. According to Various GPU calculators, they recommend GPU's lower than 650w when I pair my rig with a 3080 (320w). I know there are many factors. I want to know if any people run 300w GPUs with 650w PSUs and if my powersupply would outlive its warranty (or close) under a 550w load worst case. I probably will max out either the gpu or CPU, but not both in the future.
  11. I'm too poor for a 6900XT if I use a 2600 lol.
  12. I'm in the market for a higher end GPU. I just installed a new EVGA Supernova G5 650w Gold Power Supply anticipating on combining my R5 2600 (I never overclock my stuff) CPU with the new RTX 3070, but there may be a chance I may pay a little extra and get the RX 6800XT (300w). Would a 300w GPU be too much for my new PSU? I don't want to push it too hard, but my current CPU is lower end (less watts). I plan on keeping my Current CPU for the next 2 years as I just installed it this summer. I will never overclock any of my stuff. I hope to play 1440p 144hz in the future on medium or
  13. Okay. I just dont want to kill my PSU

  15. Notice the weird discolorations on the ground. Skip to 9:30 to see the splotches all over the screen there is spacing in link between the 5 and 2 https://youtu.be/D65Xqic5 28E
  16. My hd 518 headphones sound great for gaming and music (alternative, rock, and indie electronic), but I am curious whether or not the two headphones differ enough for an upgrade. How big of a difference would the quality of audio be? I also have v moda lp2 headphones which sound phenomenal on my phone with good bass and decent treble (i have near perfect hearing except for my right ear which dips down to about average), however, they sound underwhelmingly quiet on my PC which is kinda strange. On the contrary, the 518 sounds powerful on my PC. Thanks for any input on my
  17. Usually in game, both my gpu and cpu fluctuate from 80 to 99 except in overwatch and fortnite because I play on low settings to get 144hz
  18. Should I buy the 1660 ti or save 70 more bucks for the 2060? Is an upgrade from a rx 480 gb worth it? I use a 1080p 144hz screen PC: i5 6042p 8gb dual channel 600w high power PSU 1tb hdd w 240 gb ssd Rx 480 gb I will be playing overwatch, world of tanks, anthem, and occasionally fortnite.
  19. I am having a difficult time deciding which Vita to buy now in 2019. I've read on forums that the analog sticks on the slim are more prone to problems, but the lcd screen lasts longer, is more comfortable, and has a better charging port. I want to get the longer lasting system. Would it be better to get the younger slim or old faithful? At a local game store, I tried an original vita that was used. It included nothing but a charger and it costs the same as ordering a used slim at gamestop (150 USD). The condition was really good with few signs of wear and operated well.
  20. Thank you everyone for your valuable opinions. I turned off deep color HDMI, and my system has been working again for the past 2 weeks.
  21. My PS3 slim chech 3001a is failing right now( it sometimes wont power on out of standby). It does not have ylod and the fans still run 100 percent when tested. Should I purchase a used slim or super slim and what model? I heard that the ps3 super slim has been skimped on a lot. Would the super slim last longer since it was manufactured later or are the internals really as bad as people think? Im aware that the disc player is manual and I agree that the console is ugly. Priorities: 1st Longevity and reliability over digital and physical game use 2nd componen
  22. Update: I just sucessfully booted my console twice after unplugging, 20 second reset, fan test, additional unplug, and power on. If the standby turns off again tomorrow on its own, should I dig a grave?
