Konrad_K got a reaction from Mark Kaine in r3 3200G enough for daily ussage in 2021 (non gaming)??
If you only need a computer for basics tasks and do not intend on upgrading it later on, building it yourself with the unstable prices might not be the best option at the moment. Getting a decommissioned office desktop will be cheaper and will suffice for web browsing etc.

Konrad_K got a reaction from Mark Kaine in Whelp, are ALL hardware releases just going to be like this now?
I suspect that due to the current situation, supply chain strategies used until now are insufficient to meet the demand for online orders. Crucial products have the priority when it comes to on-time and reliable deliveries. Unless the infrastructure changes, and more resources are dedicated to supply chain optimization and management, more and more newly released tech products (usually manufactured in Asia) will be out of stock soon after release.

Well covid affected even apple' iphone release, they released only half of the new models a month after schedule, and they were considered the most accurate till now. The other big issue is that covid made people buying hardware more than ever before, you gotta see cameras that are now 4 times more expensive than they were before, the same exact model. If we will continue to the same route on working from home, and we will to a point, things will get better eventually, but it will take time

Konrad_K got a reaction from Grimbarian in ASUS 20th Anniversary Gold Edition GTX 980 Ti: Should i upgrade?
I don't really think that your limited edition card is old enough to have any collector value. I would just try to sell at market price for any used 980ti.

Thanks good to know, was pretty happy with thebossmans price estimate anyway as these 3000 cards are cheaper than i expected so not too worried about that if i opt for the 3070. Thanks for the info.

If you want to be sure about ram compatibility, check the board manufacturers website for validated kits. You won't have to reinstall windows (probably) but it is a good practice to do so to avoid stability issues.

I would just buy a NUC for that price and use case. It's small, elegant and sips power.

I doubt that. The interest in Android tablets is so low that it wouldn't make much economic sense to do make a video about them.

Konrad_K got a reaction from Ben17 in iPhone exchange display via HDMI?
Using an iPhone for that isn't a great idea. Just get a small HDMI screen for eg. a Raspberry Pi and attach it as a separate display if you really need a stat screen.

Konrad_K got a reaction from Haro in 3GHz at 1 volt
Well you know when a undervolt is rock solid if you actually use a computer for a prolonged period of time, say a couple of days or even weeks. I have a laptop that I undervolted, ran fine for a few days and than after turning it on I launched 4 programs simultaneously and it crashed - so it wasn't so stable after all. Just try a higher setting. This is still way below stock.

Not rock stable then. Just like car engines, just because it starts up fine when it's warm doesnt mean it will give you a good time when it snows.

I would recommend just buying a VGA to DVI adapter. A lot simpler.

Are you sure it's not dead? Or was used with mining or something ?
Use your apu with the GPU plugged it and check if it's at the very least detected

Konrad_K got a reaction from Haro in Upgrade help!
That's not much of an upgrade. Both are quad cores that lack HT. If you actually want to upgrade you should get at least the R3 3300X and a B450 mobo to make the change worth it.

Check the code that's written when a BSOD happens. It can be caused by numerous reasons.

Yes its better. Just remove the 230 and put it in another rig. You don't need a box to store it in.

It's a mouse. If it suits your hand you just buy it. There hasn't been a revolution in the way we interact with PC's since the mouse has been invented decades ago. As long as the current G Pro suits you and you need a new mouse just go for it.
