Nothing other than the fact that it's inside the case of a PowerMac G5 (and the optical drive works).

    Mine's similar:
    Dual 8-core Xeon e5-2690 (2900-3800mHz)
RX 570 (waiting for 6800xt to become buyable)
Don't have 4 internal drives, but have 2 2tb, 6 platter 7200rpm HDDs in there from 2012, plus SSD
Also, I have a soundcard. That's not common these days, but my motherboard audio was just that bad.

    Summary

Red Hat is ending CentOS in favor of CentOS Stream, a rolling preview of the next phase that Red Hat enterprise will be taking. Support for CentOS 8 ends this year instead of the expected 10-year support life which was expected to be 2029. If you're still running CentOS 7 support will be available until 2024

    My thoughts
The company I work for has a lot of our servers running CentOS and the DCO crews are starting to look at options moving forward, a lot of big time corportaions used CentOS so there might be significant shifts in distro usage as they move to change over.

A Quote from the second article cited:
"According to a CloudLinux survey, most CentOS users, 60.5%, are waiting for a CentOS fork to be released. Of the rest, 16.7% are looking to Debian Linux, 12.4% are considering Ubuntu, while 10.4% are thinking about openSUSE."

you realize that Linux is open source and collects no data at all?

LTT said that they tried this for reasons that's like yeah you can run stuff that linux won't run but that's either games or adobe stuff. adobe doesn't work as the video showed and most modern games won't anyway because DX12 so there is no point to this over linux.

so this just bricks Windows to the point that
most modern games won't run search is completely dead updating is insanely complicated you lose access to uwp apps etc etc why not use Linux then?

that should be ok. i recommend PopOS for you (make sure you download the nvidia iso) becuase you have an nvidia graphics card, and Pop has much better integration with nvidia's drivers.

Nah, what it means is that, if Google were to provide a user with a link and a summary of a news article written by Bloomberg then Google will need to pay a fee to Bloomberg (Bloomberg is just the first example I though of, replace it with any News outlet you want).

The implications of this are much wider than it seems on the surface though, this very section of this very forum might not be able to exist without LMG being on the line for royalty payments to every news article we link to here.

    My thoughts
This is really exciting, it costs just 4$, it runs microPython and it'll be a lot of fun for projects, especially working within the hardware constraints of the controller. I can't wait to see what kind of things can be made using this. I was wondering how long it will take for them to make one. I'm also interested to know how it compares to an arduino and how compatible they are.

eeeeeeh on a card like that they have limitations. due to the age it'll use the Radeon driver, not AMDGPU. the main difference between the 2 is that the older Radeon driver does not work with Vulkan. so Proton and all that cool stuff will not work.
