Exactly, the stock cooler is more than enough and my biggest regret with my PC is not getting a big enough PSU
plus try spending 50$ on an SSD to load your OS, trust me I have one and it’s the best decision I’ve made in my PC as it makes everything buttery smooth

The stock CPU cooler is fine, no reason to replace it.

Get a Corsair CX550M instead, that will give you more headroom for upgrades.

Other than that, everything looks good.

80 rpm is not a lot, usually the fan should run at a few thousand rpm.

Reason why its sketchy: tiny heatsink without fans, trying to cool 250w GPU

I'm good with wood.. if I build this and keep to a low budget and maybe make allowances for easy maintaining and cleaning.  Should I make a video and who will watch it? Never made videos or vlogs before

Mainly because while AMD is good, in the gaming side intel still gets better performance

Ausfernando reacted to 2FA in Where and what are USB Type-C port used for .-.
Type C is merely a new form factor that allows for more advanced USB standards to be used such as USB 3.1 and USB PD (PD allows for up to 100W of power instead of the old 2.5W). It also has "alternate mode" which allows it to carry signals such as VGA, HDMI, and Thunderbolt 3 as long as the cables are properly certified.

just a GPU and maybe and ssd for a boot drive and you'll be fine. 12gb of ram is enough.

@RayJW I reccomned just experimenting, it's hard to kill anything with controlling case fans.

Ausfernando reacted to timl132 in Looking to improve thermals, what steps to take?
These are all normal temps, excpet for the hdd maybe. The air in your case is hot, which heats the other components. Try setting the fans faster, there should be a manual for your MB on setting the fan curve.
But 58C for a high end GPU is okay, and 45C for a 1700 is good too.
