So I'm likely gonna be ordering an R9 3900X used in the next 5 ish days since CeX seems to have more back in stock. If I am able to order it then I'll request my WTB Classifieds thread be deleted.
 
3900X for Christmas is gonna be a sweet improvement over 1700X and now that I'm on the X370 beta bios I don't need the 1700X anymore.
 
And it should mean I can hopefully be getting higher and more evenly paced fps in games, faster PC responsiveness, lower memory latency, and better video editing: timeline scrubbing, encoding, and rendering performance.
 
A possible followup might be to get my NAS properly working and set up since Level 1 Techs have come out with a new video walkthrough that makes setting up TrueNas Core (the new name for future versions of FreeNas) look easy .
Then I can put the insanely expensive hard drives to use and NAS to use.
 
Around that time I'm probably gonna swap out the 1.92TB Corsair NVMe SSD from MBP to use it as a cache for the NAS and put the original 512GB Apple SSD back in MBP. The NAS already uses I believe a 120GB (or possibly 240GB) Corsair NVMe SSD for Boot and FreeNas . Although I'd have to check that my big boi HPE Computer has 2 M.2 slots cos it might only have one. If it only has one then it might be worth getting a large Sata SSD for it to use or swap out the small SSD drive for the 1.92TB drive.
 
I'm happy with the Corsair SSDs. They're both Force MP510s and they are great. I used to not think highly of Corsair SSDs around 5  or 6 years ago but man have they really turned around their image and reputation.

Holy shit. Definitely one of the best movies I've seen. 
 
It's made in a "one-shot" style, meaning you very rarely see/feel any cuts in the movie and that makes it really freaking immersive.

So I left my PC unattended and returned to it not booting with a page fault in non paged area BSOD. Restored to the latest restore point and now seems to be working. I don't remember installing any updates, but it's windows 10 so who the hell knows. I just really hope this was a bad update and not a hardware issue.

Last weekend my great aunt let some online scammers access her PC. Sadly it's down for the count.
 
On Monday I went to complete a build for a friend, the CPU is toast and I bought it used with no recourse. My deal hunting has finally got the better of me.
 
My mom's macbook is facing immense slowdowns due to age and needs a replacement soon, she can't use email on it anymore.
 
My girlfriend's macbook died, totally kaput.
 
My chromebook died, totally kaput.
 
My car battery died yesterday.
