  6. Ignore the PCpartpicker pricing, just used it to get an easy to look chart of the parts I've saw available, the price of those are basicly the same Vega 11 appears to be a LOT better than the UHD Graphics 630 that comes with 10400 tho. yeah thats what I was thinking, specially cuz with vega 11 I would "lose" some RAM to the GPU, and using the 1030 the 16gb would be available also yeah, the pricing is basicly the same roughly 3500 BRL
  7. Which one would be better? Budget (including currency): 3500 BRL Country: Brazil Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: General Gaming... (Guild wars 2... Shadow of War... FF XV [probably will run on low I think...] F1 2020... ECO system) Other details: (existing parts lists:building a desktop from zero..., whether any peripherals are needed: no need for new peripherals, what you're upgrading from:upgrading from a lenovo laptop with a 4500U CPU and 820m GPU, when you're going to buy: hopefully this week, what resolution and refresh rate you want to pl
  8. Last update about the situation: The laptop is working again, but the second slot isnt working and also the module that were in this slot is dead too. Aside of this, the laptop is back.
  9. Okay, new info... Aparently I solved it, @Moonzy was kinda right, it was the memory module, but not just reseating it... I tested both separately, aparently... One of the memory slots or the memory module itself is bad... Hit the laptop to boot to windows by using the module that looks OK... Lost 8gb of ram but at least it looks fine now... When plugging the power adapter it doesn't beep anymore too... So it's working at least Hope the laptop doesn't give up totally before I can buy the hardware for the new pc I want... Thank you so much to everyone that responded to help... Hope
  10. Sadly no, I don't have a backup power adapter... But I think the laptop would at least post even unplugged if that was the case, the battery is charged cuz when it had the blue screen it was @~80 battery left and charging
  11. New information, when I unplugged the charging cable from the laptop, it beeped... And when I put it back on... Beeped again... So ever since the problem started this morning, whenever I plug or unplug the charger... It gives a beep... I made a video showing it
  12. They aren't soldered, tried reseating them but still no post or anything in the screen... The cooling fan is back to spinning normally tho, not just one spin.
  13. Hello everybody,I hope y'all had a great holidays season. So, my laptop had a blue screen of death and when I went to turn it back on... I don't even get a post... Absolutely nothing on the screen. I went ahead and tried to find any reason... Strange noises or something like this, and I found out that hd was doing a clicking noise, tried to swap it to an ssd I had here, but to no good... The clicking stopped but still had no post I observed another thing, the cooling system spins once and stops... So it appear to have power. Any idea of what this could be? And mo
  14. Hello everybody, first of all thanks to every single person that help me. So, I’m starting building a new PC… but I’m trying to figure out if it will be better for my use case to have a 5600x + Radeon 6800xt setup (https://br.pcpartpicker.com/list/C2RkW3) or a 5800x + RTX 3070 setup (https://br.pcpartpicker.com/list/K8RJgt)... no need to limit yourselfs at this configs those would be the ones I would pick right now based on princing and reviews about impact I saw. following the recommended tread as baseline, here goes some info: 1. Budget & Location My
