  1. They updated the benching software, so what I got in that post is irrelevant now
  2. Well my normal use for now is 4.5Ghz @1.25v (which is below stock voltage? (1.3v?)), But for this i just went full yolo and put the multiplier to 48 and the voltage to 1.46v
  3. Hey, I'm new to overclocking and I got the new 6600k. I am currently at 4.5ghz at 1.285v, if my temps are at 55 degrees c (using AIDA64?) is it ok to keep going higher by increasing the voltage? Also whats the max safe voltage to use for skylake? I found this guide and it says 1.45v if your on a waterloop: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bz2VRRbLPrZnMXBnOXRWeVlHcHM/view?pli=1 , apparently its by ASUS Thanks
  4. Hey, I've never got thermal paste before, so I have no idea which ones are good. Which ones would you guys recommend?
  5. For now yes, but im doing a cs course so I may need the i7 it for VM's
  6. Hey guys, I will be building a new pc, does this all look fine? Would you guys change anything? 7. Hi guys, I am going to build a new pc, I can't decide what water cooler aio thingy to get. I was thinking of getting the x61 or the h100i GTX. Its for an i7 6700k and its going in a h440 case. Also which one is more quiet? Thanks
  8. Hey, I am going to build a new pc, I am planning to get an i5 6600k and I already have a ASUS strix gtx970, I will also be overclocking the i5. Am I meant to get a power supply around 500-600w? If so, could someone recommend me a good one as I have no idea which ones are good, preferably a modular one. I was thinking of maybe getting the corsair cx 600w v2 power supply. Thanks
  9. So your saying I should get the 2500k and not the 2400?
  10. Hey guys, right now I have an i3-2120 with a GTX 970 (asus) and my motherboard is a Gigabyte Z68 AP-D3. I want to buy a cheap i5 while I wait for skylake to come out as right now I think there is a bottleneck. So my question is should I get an i5-2400 for only £65 or get an i5-2500k for £95, and if I get the 2500k will I be able to overclock it on my motherboard? (I will buy an aftermarket cooler as I will need one for skylake anyway). Thanks
