  1. Would it be best to disassemble it and put it back in the boxes the parts came in? It has a tempered glass side panel. Maybe just put the video card back in the case it came in, wrap up the side panel.
  2. lol yah that game is not in my reasons for upgrading as it runs on my phone. it will be nice to have more than 30 fps in A Hat In Time
  3. I built the following rig for work, I just threw a random graphics card in it That's a piece of junk because I couldn't get anything because of scalpers. PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor $209.99 @ B&H Motherboard Gigabyte B550M DS3H Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard $94.00 @ Best Buy Memory G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL1

  5. Oh okay, that's not going to happen but I really appreciate the thinking ahead there. I'm a 20 something year old but I have the reflexes of the potato, I didn't grow up with video games The only games I've ever completed are Undertale To the moon And freedom planet I'm not personally a fan of first person shooters, (And I stink at them). Also I'm one of those plebeian people who can't feel the lag from game streaming, I've tried shadow gaming and it works just fine for me so stadia would probably be perfect, I just had to upgrade my rig for my job
  6. I was talking about the game "a hat in time"which is a 3D Mario style platformer, not Ori and the blind Forest which is a fixed perspective game
  7. Thanks, yeah that makes sense for Ori, a hat in time is 3D but it's not a realistic 3D game it's cartoony,
  8. I can't get either of these right now of course, this is for when I can. The games I play are really not demanding A hat in time. Ori and the blind Forest Stardew valley (Yes, this would run on a toaster) Will there be any improvement to my experience on one of these graphics cards versus the other? Having RTX voice would kind of be nice but it's not really that essential. The rest of the rig is a Ryzen 3600 16 GB of RAM. Forgive the stupid questions sorry.
  9. Pardon the asinine question but My frame rate dropped from 60 to 40 (Yes both rigs are kind of crap) but it seems like a much much smoother experience.
  10. Yeah I'm just an impatient idiot, I have all the parts to make a desktop except the case which is going to take a bit more than a week.
  11. I don't know All I know is it's annoying, I play games like Ori and the blind Forest and a hat in Time and stardew valley I'm not exactly a top-of-the-line gamer. Honestly that card is even probably massive overkill for me but it's good to have some headroom for later
  12. I have a big quiet pure power 500 watt I think this should be enough headroom on that
  13. Are there any tipsOther than just moving the hard drive and crossing my fingers and hoping it works?
