Oh a GPU upgrade is on the cards, I'm just waiting for a bit more money and the 1070 to drop in price a little bit. I don't even use 16GB yet, 12 is about the most I see used on average. To be honest, I'm not even sure that the front slot is clear enough to fit another stick of ram in. Maybe I'll get more ram another time.

That problem sounds very similar to me, a lot like I had with my Z3, the wifi would cut out whenever you tried to load anything with wifi. I think I hit my data limit twice before I picked up a new phone.

yeah, one of my mates is on 3 and the coverage ain't as good as ee in liverpool, that's the main thing. Most places in Liverpool have 4G, I've only been to a handful of places in the city where I've been without 4G consistently.

besides the awful customer service, general poor pricing, bad advertising, lazy app development, inept employees and low quality products (looking at you "free" battery banks) what have they ever done wrong?

To be honest, 3 were going to get my signature, they've an unlimited data plan for the same price as my current contract, but this deal is pretty good, and ee do have good coverage.

It's not that I dislike AMD, if I wasn't already integrated into nvidias ecosystem then I'd switch sides in a heartbeat. I've helped one of my mates upgrade his GPU before today with an AMD GPU, and most of my friends have AMD based systems, I personally take the view thet whatever is the best is the one to use, and although the RX 480 is very very good, and my personal choice over the 1060, I just can't go for it due to my past decision to get a shield.

480 is a no go, I can't use AMD, not when I have a shield and use gamestream

getting a 980ti on ebay is also not an option, I'd rather avoid getting something for my main system from ebay, maybe for another rig I would consider doing so.

Yeah, shame I need one for 1440p and possibly for good VR (If I can convince my lecturer to let me "borrow" a headset) that will last a good few years. I might just save for a 1070, it's only an extra week and a half's wages really.

Not really, I wouldn't want to do it, but given the 1060 is better than a 970 and frequently a 980, it's not too shabby of a lower end card.

I'd love to, but it's at least £150 more. If the gtx 1060 had true SLI, I'd have already ordered one as I could just get another later on, but without true SLI its made this a more expensive decision. I might just wait for the 1070 to drop in price a little, hopefully by september time they might have dropped a little.

I traded in a shitload of PS3 games recently, so that I can get more games for my PS4. Apparently price matching over 20 old PS3 games got me pretty much double their original offer

advertising is jut everywhere in american sports, it's a shame, but if you look past it it's not too bad.

the stop start nature of it is frustrating at first to those of us used to non stop sports, but with all the handovers of play you can see why it's so slow to progress.

It can be, but it's also interesting to understand. The similarities to rugby are evident, it's just the fact they can make an hour long game last 4 hours that annoys me.
