anyone else in Australia have lots of buffering on floatplane
CreativeGuy2013 replied to J-Dogg's topic in General Discussion
We don't have them anymore because floatplane doesn't run thru the forum anymore. I thought they said they would be coming back eventually. -
Looking to get the Thinkpad X1 Extreme, any good?
CreativeGuy2013 replied to Ali18's topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
I have only heard good things about the Thinkpad lineup over the last little bit. I have had issues with the 'regular' Lenovo laptops however. I think you are still pretty good off with a Thinkpad. Maybe watch the X1 Carbon video from LTT for build and quality stuffs. They loved the build quality. -
Does the device feel warm at all? How old is the device? Does this happen when it is plugged in to charge, or only on battery? I have a Flip 4, but have never had any issues like this. If you cant resolve it with tips from here, you are best off contacting JBL.

Could you maybe share some screenshots from task manager for your CPU, memory and GPU usage? I had a similar issue with my system, because of the slow DDR3-800 RAM I have. CSGO is pretty CPU bound so it might be related to that, although I think if it stays pinned at 120 exactly it might be a different problem. What are you using to look at the FPS? Could you measure with fraps? Sometimes ingame FPS counters are strange :).

@Christophe Corazza Might wanna read the whole question first
-
Probably a software fault then. Might wanna reinstall windows and see if that fixes it.

Is it for left and right shift?
-
What laptop? Is it still under warranty?
-
I really don't have experience with modems at all, but the pings going over the connection is probably phones sending pings to servers or messaging apps like facebook or so.

Laptop/Dock crashes when phone is next to it
CreativeGuy2013 replied to J4ynik's topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
It might be a magnetic field in your phone that disturbes the magnetic sensor in you laptop (the one that activates when you close the lid to tell your laptop to hibernate). You can try by button putting a magnet close by and see if that does it. -
Thats why I don't want to get started. I have other stuff to do. Don't wanna be fully sucked in.
-
You indeed will probably have to replace it again. If you have already replaced it 4 times, it might be worth talking to ASUS about getting your money back and buying a different one.
-
I don't play either. I don't like the game.

How old is the monitor? Does it still have warranty?
