Now that makes sense. They just ran the game with the best available hardware at the time

It's not rumoured minimum requirements.  Those specs were taken from the PC that was running the demo at trade shows.  CDPR said as much.

I never saw a popular competitive game with a good community. and I admit, I was part of the problem: I havent played dota 2 in 3+ years because it is unhealthy to me, for real.

Outside the Town it should run fine with medium settings. Inside Boston be prepared for some serious framedrops tho. Godrays and Shadows eat up the most Performance.

Something is strange on this video, why is the GPU usage not near 100%? I may be wrong, but I never saw RAM bottlenecking in this particular manner, and also in none of the tests the GPU usage is at 100%.

Also, when talking about ryzen, its true that RAM makes a big difference (and even then I dont care about it that much), but on intel? I dont think its worth it to spend a lot of money and have the hassle just to upgrade RAM and see minimal gains.

what you can do is try to overclock your RAM, or set better timings. check out gamer nexus video on that subject, its very in depth and it may help you.

    Life is Strange .

i spent roughly 3-4 days ( 3-6hours/ day) to complete the game. at first i thought that the Graphics were not that good. but then the whole shit goes down and it's just beautiful. the story, music and further more the Dialogue between the characters were so amazingly crafted. you will find new things each time you explore the game and the story is less predictable in LIS. which makes it fun due to surprising story each chapter. i'm telling you, if you play this game. act as natural as you are in real life. it'll teach you something valuable from the game itself.

I wanted to play Fallout 4 when it launched, but I knew my GPU wasnt going to cut it... Because of that:

I was so noob at the time that I assumed my pc would run anything, because why the hell wouldnt It? I found out that my gpu was pure trash when J tried to play skyrim and it was a slideshow, even on 900p low settings... Tought it was a bug, found out about fraps and figured out my fps was 8-15... But how?! I played skyrim before - as it turns out my pc had a decent GPU at some point, but it was changed after it "broke" (it could also have been stolen by corrupt technicians, I will never know). So in the end I found out I had a gt210, and it was maybe even worse than my integrated graphics. That was fine because I only played dota at the time.

Fast foward to Fallout 4 launch:
I knew I had to get a gpu, had no money. Asked for a gtx 450 as my bday present (because it was listed as minimum requirements). I was lucky my father got me a gtx 750ti instead of the old 450 (which was almost the same price), and after that I started learning bit by bit

AFAIK, trypophobia is not a "real" phobia. It is something that a lot of people have (me included) but its just a bad feeling - and the new iphone DEFINETELY does not bother me.

If the whole back of the phone had irregular holes, MAYBE people could feel bad looking at it, but still the whole situation is ridiculous.

For ppl that are confused, just google trypophobia in google images that you will see what this is about.

Taja reacted to Tsuki in Diablo 3
it plays perfectly fine with keyboard and mouse.  i dont know anybody that would suggest gamepad instead.(and quite frankly anybody who does is wrong and has never played a high level greater rift)
with a gamepad you lose alot of the micro control that a mouse gives, thats needed at higher difficulties.

that being said, the entire game was designed around the fact that it would be playable on console. the lack of skill progression and build diversity that plagues the game, and that itemization is the primary difference between builds instead of what skills you use, is entirely because it was released on console.

the things people loved about Diablo 2, that dont exist in D3, is because its on console.

but its still a good game, and i highly recommend using keyboard/mouse if you're playing on PC

Taja reacted to Sauron in Virus within a film?
    1) Public domain films are a thing, stop falling for the propaganda that torrenting is inherently illegal, and 2) answering a question about what a virus could do wouldn't really fall within the realm of "advertising" or condoning piracy. Oh, and 3) "official channels" don't always exist. You're pretty much talking out of your butt, you don't know the situation and seem to be painfully ignorant on how both torrenting and movie distribution work.

Also wtf is that reasoning at the end? When did torrenting become equivalent to robbing a bank and when did robbing a bank become a sufficient reason to have someone killed?
