  1. wow that helps alot thanks so much! Do I need to worry about buying an expensive motherboard or is it about looking for features like wifi or bluetooth?
  2. So an AMD Ryzen 5 3600x would be perfect? I'm hoping to buy a RTX 3070 to go with it
  3. So an amd ryzen 7 3700x with 8 cores and 16 threads would be the sweet spot I'm guessing?
  4. So I want to be able to play games at 4k, 60 fps, with max settings. Is there a cpu that can do this without overclocking anything in my rig? I don't need anymore frames than 60, i just want a smooth gaming experience. I'm planning on buying a RTX 30 series card(if I get lucky) to go with this new cpu for 4k gaming. Thanks in advance!
  5. My goal is to hit 4k 60fps with ultra settings with the newest games. Will this build work? Any suggestions? I'm not the most knowledgeable when it comes to pc gaming. Intel Core i7-9700k unlocked RTX 3070 GPU MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon Motherboard Thanks! I want to be ready for Cyberpunk 2077!
  6. Should I buy an RTX 2080ti today or wait for a better graphics card to come out? I’ve been out of the loop for graphics cards news and announcements. Thanks
  7. I have a motherboard GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-D3H and I need a sound card that has dolby digital surround sound 5.1 that'll work with it. Any recommendations? thanks!
  8. So I have a motherboard GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-D3H and it doesn't have Dolby Digital Live or anything like that. I'm looking for a sound card that provides me dolby digital surround sound 5.1 that will work with my motherboard and my Turtle Beach PX4 headset. Does anybody have any recommendations? thanks!
  9. wow that's insane! haha well that's good news for sure, well I guess the only thing left for me to do is grab another set of Ripjaws then thanks for all the awesome advice, this really did put my mind at ease and now I can't wait to install the new gpu!
  10. oh that's perfectly fine, I really do appreciate the help and I accidentally forgot to add the MSI GeForce GTX 980 Ti Gaming 6g to the build
  11. aw that's a bummer haha well I'm glad I didn't buy it then, I had one more question if you don't mind? I have this build at the moment and my new card should be coming in soon and I was wondering if this build is causing any "Bottlenecking" ??? Gigabyte GA-Z87X-D3H LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel motherboard Intel core i7 4770K Haswell Quad-Core 3.5 GHz LGA 1150 84W BX80646174770K processor G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model F3-14900CL9D-8GBXL MSI GeForce GTX 980 Ti
  12. Thanks! by the way would you know if that GTX Titan card is worth getting? I can afford it, but I don't know if it makes sense to get it haha
  13. oh that's interesting, the MSI boards I've seen look very cool and I wouldn't mind switching to that either haha so how did you know that these Z97 boards are compatible with the i7 4770K? Is there a certain spec I need to look at or something simpler? I bought a GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-D3H LGA 1150 Intel Z87 for my build, but only because that's what my friend told me to get
  14. Haha the "more is better" part makes a lot of sense
