Since it's not possible nevermind.

Which OS? Windows will detect a hardware change, I've been okay with equal core count (which you'll have) and had a nightmare with a PC with a change in number of cores - i.e., HAL

i3 6100 vs Intel Xeon E-5 2670
brcdncn replied to aries757's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Maybe it's worth a look on the used market for the Xeon motherboard, new options are limited: http://www.superbiiz.com/detail.php?name=MB-P9X79ES This one is at least ATX form https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007HW84SY/ -
I have been contemplating a similar build. http://pcpartpicker.com/list/hqzGqk Looking at just the stock cooler, integrated graphics fine for lightweight gaming.

New requirements... (It's always cool when that happens!) -- now: $450 budget Must use the Silverstone GD09B HTPC Case Must include the Logitech K400 Plus Wireless Mini Keyboard w/Touchpad Wi-Fi capable HDMI out I'm struggling with budget of $450. Might have to resort to AMD... http://pcpartpicker.com/list/F8Zt8K -

Awesome case for working in. Pricier but build quality far exceeds that of the Fractal.

Bored: need action/shooter games suggestion
brcdncn replied to i_build_nanosuits's topic in PC Gaming
It's not action or shooting but No Man's Sky is keeping me compelled. You could try ARMA, America's Army, Overwatch, Far Cry, Fallout, Titanfall. Borderlands series isn't "good graphics" but it is always good.
