I hate being that guy but this triggers my OCD to unbelievable levels with that grammar and formatting.
It's solid stuff (I suppose, I never cared for this anyway), but you simply must fix this properly, because at the moment it feels like it was copied from a shady chat conversation.

    Good luck.

NMS got a reaction from Hold-Ma-Beer in 5 Core cpu's
Probably because of the layout. Since the way chips are made these days, they are sort of mirrored. So if you had 3 cores, on one side there would be 2, and the other side would have empty space where the fourth would go.

    I could be wrong.

Edit: It's also good to increase core count by a factor of 2 to appeal more to a consumer.

NMS reacted to JZStudios in GOG.com pulls a massive pro-consumer move with updated refund policy
I went into my email and was surprised with this, almost deleted it thinking it was just another GOG security update or something. Turns out it's a massive pro move from the little team that could.

"Everyone at GOG believes in a 'gamers-first’ approach. It means that every part of our store is designed with gamers in mind and your purchase safety and satisfaction come first for us. The latest update to our voluntary Refund Policy adds another piece to this customer-friendly experience. And it all sums up in one sentence: starting now, you can get a full refund up to 30 days after purchasing a product, even if you downloaded, launched, and played it. That's it.

It’s important for us to say that this update is possible thanks to your respect for all the time and hard work put into creating the games you buy on GOG.com and playing by the rules. We're grateful for that and encourage you to continue to do so.

For more details on how the change works, please check this FAQ article."

    FAQ link HERE
This is major news and something I was hoping Steam would do for years, taking less risk out of buying PC games and being potentially screwed out of $60 for sub standard games, or hell just games that you just don't like. This really flies in the face of people claiming that this is impossible, or would be unfair, or that you don't own your digital purchases.

As if this wasn't big enough news (That doesn't even seem to be advertised on their main site, they just went "Oh yeah, we did this super rad thing.") GOG Galaxy 2.0 is apparently now in Open Beta.
    Link HERE
I've been using it for a few months now, and I'm pretty damn happy with it, being able to consolidate all my games, including emulators into one place and being able to launch them all from one place, as well as allowing it to close the other launchers on game exit. It'll even pull in achievement information, friends lists, play time, and more from other platforms, all while having a clean and fairly customizeable layout.

    Edit* A lot of people seem to think that GOG hasn't thought about the fact that people are scumbags, despite the fact that their entire store is DRM free and if people didn't want to buy games they could just pirate them. Anyways, here's what's written in their FAQ;
    1. How does your updated voluntary Refund Policy work?
The updated policy lets you refund a product up to 30 days after purchase, even if it was downloaded, launched, and played. Yes, you read that correctly.
To apply for a refund, you should contact our Customer Support Team within 30 days of your purchase, and our team will sort it out as soon as possible.
We're monitoring the effects of the current update to make sure no one is using this policy to hurt the developers that put their time and heart into making great games. We may refuse refunds in such individual cases. We'd also let you know about any future adjustments in the voluntary Refund Policy in advance. 7. How often can I refund my games? Is there some sort of limit?
We trust that you're making informed purchasing decisions and will use this updated voluntary Refund Policy only if something doesn't work as you expected.
This is why there are no limits but instead, we reserve the right to refuse refunds in individual cases.
Please respect all the time and hard work put into making the games you play and remember that refunds are not reviews. If you finished the game and didn't like it, please consider sharing your opinion instead. Also, please don't take advantage of our trust by asking for an unreasonable amount of games to be refunded. Don't be that person. No one likes that person. I also highly doubt this will damage GOGs standing with publishers. Steam still has big games come out on it's platform despite their refund also being the end of the world. Big games are already not on GOG because they're DRM free and big publishers think that DRM is good for sales, despite being cracked mere hours after launch every time.

I do not believe they have G+ model. Do you mean G1 800 Watts 80 PLUS GOLD?
As for G3, I believe those are SuperNOVA models.
Basically, the G3 is the newest model, then older one is G2, and after that G1.

Edit: In general, the more later the model, the better protection and power delivery.
G1->G2->G3 And there's also GQ series. All of those are also called SuperNOVA.
All these mentioned above are 80 PLUS GOLD certified. Hence the G.

This Is absurd imo you can't own a color and make it so no other company can use it especially since the company they are suing isn't in the same market as them. If every company trademarked a color pretty soon there would be no colors left and then what. What if a company trademarks the color black and sues t mobile is t mobile prepared to make all letters in their marketing material magenta?

What kind of person would invest in a company based on a tweet?

At this point I think Intel are better off keeping their mouth shut, there are always going to be those people that buy Xeon no matter what, and most of the negative press Intel have been getting recently is caused by their own marketing department!

They still have a 'good' product, but they're doing an AMD and overhyping the shite out of them, which is backfiring on them big time!

While those sites have no right to distribute the illegally obtained content I am within my moral rights to pirate it. IF (a huge IF) a website I signed up for and paid the subscription fee then denies me service because of my location. If that's the case why did they even chargee in the first place? This is how Crunchyroll operates.

After all, when I'm trying to give my money for something and then I'm being denied simply due to my location then don't even let me sign up.

In the end, I don't feel bad at all as I spend thousands a year on figures. And I doubt that half of what I would pay for Crunchyroll would go to the original studio.

TL;DR Geo restrictions are complete and utter garbage and if I want to obtain something that is restricted, then don't advertise it to me or else it will get pirated.

NMS got a reaction from TechyBen in File sharing sites Openload and Streamango shut down by Anti-Piracy Alliance ACE
    1. I don't have a problem with paying more. I'm well aware of that fact that is very much a possibility. The reality of it is if I'm offering "you" the money but because of certain let's say logistical issues you are unable to deliver me the product/service then don't charge me in the first place. This is the issue that I have. So perhaps you see how I am now inclined to obtain what I need through other means.

    2. And that is how in this instance Crunchyroll operates. They do not tell you beforehand with certainty whether the content will be available in certain region or not. The only way to know is to sign up. It's cheap anyway so I never demanded money back.

And considering that they know my location before the registration they can easily let me know if that particular product will be available to me. But that of course means less customers to them.

Bottom line is: Crunchyroll is garbage. There's almost no other way for me to get what I want. Seriously just take my damn money... So pirating it is.

It amazes me that to this day everyone is trying to tax and regulate the "internet" yet fails so hard provide proper distribution of information.

A DVD is not an option for everyone. And while I do have a TV all it does is sit in the living room gathering dust. But to give you an example, out of about 27 (give or take a few) shows that I wanted to see at that time, none were available in my region. Perhaps it offers some mainstream content but I'm not interested in that.
Then tell me beforehand that the content will not be available in my region.

I don't believe in geo restricting content in the first place. Be it my personal opinion but I highly dislike the fact that as of late internet has been cracked down upon using multiple methods including the above mentioned restrictions.

But you still don't see my point. I have an issue with the product being advertised in MY region but then being denied access to it after paying for it. Do you not see how that is problematic? If I can't access it later, don't advertise it to me. Don't bring VPN into this.
