  1. So I've had this idea, and wanted to just share and discuss. With tech that we've seen recently like Google Glass (lol) and smart watches (yes this was an idea that came from the just uploaded video), and in addition to this, Apple, and namely Google taking an interest in AR technologies; a wearable/smart glasses combo doesn't seem far off. So my idea, is based around AR Glasses, and a Watch or wristband or rings. The glasses would provide a HUD, but the main purpose would be displaying the watch's holographic interface, yes, exactly like the sci-fi hovering dis
  2. Is there a specific desk mount, 3 monitor bracket that's considered good or is old any one good?
  3. If I have two monitors of the same make/model and one different one, will they line up on a 3 monitor stand, or will there be a height difference?
  4. Looking for a block for this card, needs to be available in the UK. So not EKWB.
  5. This would be OK with a FX6300 or should I be looking for something higher eg: FX8350 or FX9590
  6. Right, I know that obviously the R9 is better, however what kind of performance increases should I be looking at from the R7 370 to the R9 390 (8GB version)
  7. I need a monitor that is 23" and has a 1.5cm bezel on both sides. This is to match my friend's other two monitors for a triple monitor setup. I know I should use same make and model, but my friend doesn't have the money to buy 3 of the same panels. The monitors are Fujitsu Siemans Alimo LSL3230T's. They are TN panel, however he is not fussed about the centre one being IPS or VA. They're 1080p and run at 60Hz. I live in the UK so if anybody could find one, please make sure its available here (eg Amazon Uk, Scan etc). I haven't been able to find one for him before work, so any help if greatly ap
  8. Thanks for finding one so quickly, and sorry I did not mention this before, but we're in the UK and it doesn't seem to be available here on Amazon, or newegg, or scan etc
  9. If you want 1080p 144Hz you'll need to look for DisplayPort support on the monitors. 1080p 60Hz HDMI, will give you this, so will DVI, just with worse audio bandwidth.
  10. I am not sure, the specific monitors he has are Fujitsu Siemans Amilo LSL3230T, they're pretty old, so something similar has been a pain to find
  11. I would say that's a good monitor for the price, as long as you're not expecting 144 Fps on every game and high settings as 1 GTX980 for me, wasn't enough, however it's a good choice, but take my opinion with a pinch of salt as I'm not a panel expert ^-^ As the monitor you suggested does not support DP then yes use HDMI I don't think you can get 144Hz from HDMI though.
  12. You'll get better audio bandwidth with HDMI or DP but for 1080p at 60fps, all three will display just fine, however you'll get better colour reproduction with DP > HDMI > DVI if you have a decent panel.
