I think what I need to do with the leather is add more padding underneath it to level it out more

The magnetic might work if I put magnets on the backside of the fans at least I might have to resort to that as my best choice.

So kind of a work in progress, but I live in a pretty remote area so I needed a way to look for some input into my first ground up chassis build. So the motherboard is on a "floating style" system. so its got about an inch of space behind it for airflow. The one side panel and the rear plate are all laser cut brass (I'm a Machinist), and the rest is all pine with custom burning for the patterns. the top is "leather" it was kind of a last minute idea but I kind of like the soft touch vibe on the top. as for the power button it's a industrial momentary switch. the whole thing has been made from
