BirdyTheMighty got a reaction from sub68 in Show off your latest purchase!
Havent posted in here for a while. I did bought an asus CG32UQ 4k monitor and a 3070, but my lastest purchase was this with the standard 18-55 4-5.6 lens kit. Planing to get a 50mm f/1.8 lens too.
Haven't had much time playing around with it, just took some quick shots around my room(uploading directly to the site so dont know if there is any compression in the photos)

BirdyTheMighty reacted to mtz_federico in accessing freenas on different subnet
Yes, if you are also using that router as an acces point (for wifi) you can try to put it on AP mode but since you said that you tried and it didn't work you can also just turn off dhcp, give it a static lan ip on the same ip range as the first router and move the ethernet port that connects to the first router from the wan port to a lan port.
If you tell us your router models we might be able to help more.

My GTX 970 and i7-4790K ran elite dangerous really nicely on my HTC vive

At the time I had 32GB but that was rather excessive, 16GB is plenty for VR.

As with all mechanics jobs - take your timeand everything will be fine.
Also, keep in mind that the wheel and tire do carry quite a bit of momentum if moved. Learned this the hard way when I couldn't keep my fingers out of harms way and sheared a pretty chunk of flesh off the side of my thumb. Bled like a b1tch ...

BirdyTheMighty got a reaction from TheNaitsyrk in Which computer of yours did you hate the most?
tbh none all the computers I've build i really like they were all decent on the time of purchase. The most memorable pc i have used was our family pc running a athlon 2800+ XP 2GB DDR2 + either G Force 5100 or 5200. I remember trying to constantly tweak it for the games i was playing right up to the point the last game that worked on it F.E.A.R. Before that was a PII/III( pretty sure at one point i oc to 1000Mhz)which had a TNT2, and was the first pc i have use "fully" where i first played star war racers. Before that i cant remember what the PC was running, but i did enjoyed this edu game which i cant remember what it was.
