  1. The sound is coming through my headphones, my temps are fine (I just installed custom watercooling), I think it might be the voltage, as the color of the voltage is yellow in the bios. I have ddr4 3000mhz 32gb. I have a sata cable from the mobo box.
  2. My computer has recently been experiencing crashes in which my pc freezes and plays very loud audio, like a screeching noise. It requires a hard reset to restart. I have no idea what this could be, some people said it could be my motherboard, but it has gotten to the point where almost every 20 minutes it crashes. Help please!
  3. No, there is water circulating through the pump. I can feel it going through the tube, and my cpu temps are were they should be.
  4. This happened since I built my computer, I thought it was the fans. My dad recently commented on the noise and said it was not the fans. I heard it coming from my AIO. I tightened the screws on my AIO, and the noise is still happening. What is this? The noise kind of sounds like a screw spinning. It only happens when my fans adjust speed.
  5. I'll try that. I forgot to mention that when I placed the ram in the slots, the new ram would not cause the thing that holds the ram in place to close.
  6. I recently got more ram for my computer, as I have 16gb and wanted 32gb. When I installed it in my computer, the computer would turn on, the lights on the motherboard and graphics card would turn on, but the system would not boot. I am installing the same Ram that I have, and I am sure that the mother board supports it. I switched out the old ram for the new ram and the PC still would not boot. I am using all 4 slots in my motherboard, all of the ram sticks are 8gb. I thought it was a problem with the new ram, so I returned it and bought and re bought it. I still am experiencing the same probl
  7. I was wondering if I should upgrade my pc. I have an i-7 4770k, and 970, 16gb of ram, an Msi z97 gaming motherboard, 2tb of storage, cooler master aio, and a 750 watt power supply. I was thinking about upgrading to a 1070, or a 1080, but I dont know if I should just scrap my current pc and build a new one.
  8. Hi. I have a i7-4770k and I am thinking about upgrading. Do you guys think it is worth it to upgrade my cpu? If I were to upgrade, I think I would get a cpu with more cores, because mine has 4 and I really want to get into VR. My Graphics Card can run it, but when doing the steam vr hardware check, I barely made into the "ready" category because my cpu might run into some issues by not being able to processes the environment (physics things). So, is it worth it to upgrade into a newer skylake i7 cpu?
  9. I would get a better air cooler than the stock cpu cooler. You said that you were changing your rig so I would buy the air cooler now, use it until you update (or rebuild) and then switch it out.
  10. This is the coolest thing ever. Nice work . I would have never been able to do this.
  11. The 970's perform better but to the hell with it I guess
  12. I was looking to get a tube style reservoir. I would get the 120m since it is the smallest. Do you think that would fit?
  13. So I currently have the nzxt S340 case and I am looking to watercool. I need to know if I need a new case and if I do can you put in some suggestions? I want the case to be white. Thanks. (I am looking to do a custom loop)
  14. Why not spend $1000 on a monitor? Well said though....
  15. It depends. I made the same decision. I went for the more "gaming" type monitors because I have absolutely no productivity what so ever. If you don't game 24-7 get the high priced color monitor. It will benefit you in the long run and you will still have amazing gaming. And 60hz isn't that bad. But hey, if you love gaming, go for the HZ!
  16. I used to have the Logitech G710+ (Brown Switches) before getting the k70. It is a very good keyboard.
  17. I am looking for a 1080p monitor that's preferably an ips panel, has an above 60hz refresh rate. Response time isn't something that's really important to me though, anything under 5ms is preferred. I have been searching and found the benq rl2755hm. The only thing that bothered me is that it does not have a display port. Please reply with suggestions. Thanks! (My price range is under $300)
  18. If you really want the extra performance or the newest card, I would wait. But, the 960's price will go down when the new cards a released. So I would wait either way.
  19. Because of nvidias virtual reality feature. Sorry for not stating. I thought a lot of people knew about it.
  20. I would always go for over ear headphones, because they are the most comfortable for me. But, if you find a comfy pair of on ear headphones go for that, because they are generally smaller, and from what you say, you need the size for travel.
  21. I would definitely recommend and aftermarket cpu cooler. If you have around $80 to spend on that, you can even get an AIO water cooler. Mine was $80 and I love it.
