So many brands are totally screwing customers over, and thus themselves.
Gigashyte comes to mind also, and some others.

And then people have the balls to say we are not becoming more stupid as a people.
Well this is proof, if we let stuff like this happen. Then we are stucking foopit!

Just wait until they find out that the Gameboy was also underpowered and had a vastly inferior screen, but won out over it's technically superior competitors with game quality and battery life. 😛

Not even that, they could have even filmed the conclusion after the announcement rather than 'fixing it in post'. I get Linus is a busy guy, but I'm sure it wouldn't have been too difficult to spare half an hour to sit down and say a few more words!

They really do seem to have gone downhill in their reviews, there's a reason they aren't my 'go to'!

It's a bit more complicated than that. For the few people out there that really need it, the extra VRAM of the 3090 might still swing it regardless.

What nvidia has to do now is decide how their next Ampere offerings will stack up. I still think what I will call a 3085 is a fair bet. A bit more perf than a 3080, but still not quite as much as a 3090, but with the beefed up VRAM to market against AMD. By sitting in between it'll make direct comparisons more difficult, so people will still have to compare up and down.

As an additional thought, anyone care to go through the games used by AMD. Were any of those historically "nvidia leaning" or "AMD leaning"? Are there titles NOT on the list that could be more interesting to look out for?

And with what SoC they can achieve 4K?
If anything, if anything at all, it would be DLSS 2.0 with some custom Nvidia SoC chip.

Already, games barely fit on the Nintendo Switch cartridges. 32GB chips are still too expensive.
And I don't see Nintendo putting 512 storage GB chip inside their $300 console, let alone 16GB of RAM

Yes it is faster, but I'd say that calling this beast a "laptop" is a little far fetched. Yes, technically it is a laptop but it's way to big and to be comfortable to carry in a backpack and the battery life is most probably awful, and the large power adapter is probably as heavy as a modern thin and light.

goodtofufriday reacted to C2dan88 in Xbox Series X will have dedicated sound card
Why are you getting hyped over this for?

By dedicated it is going to a sound processing chip added to the motherboard of the console. Just how PC motherboards have built in sound. Its not going to be (PCI-E) addon/external unit of console.
