What are you talking about? They compared it against 2 28 core processors from intel.

ALazyMeme got a reaction from Ben17 in Best SFF Graphics Card
Hi All
Building a PC for a mate on a tight budget of AUD800.00 and am in need of a small form factor graphics card (to fit into an ex service Dell pc). I've used a GTX 1050 before with continual issues with the graphics drivers crashing. Can anyone offer any options? I've looked and looked and haven't found anything other than the GT 1030/GTX 1050/ti
For reference he will be playing some LoL, CSGO and minecraft (with shaders I think)
Thanks

I bought a 1050ti due to power constraints with initial build, a RX 570 will thrash that and is a better price, for a new component about as good as you can get performance per dollar
Edit: Sorry i bring up 1050ti vs 570 because the 1050ti can still, bearly, but still play most games at 1080p 80-100fps+ (newer stuff, PUBG, Apex, BF, Rising Storm titles etc) on mix of low or medium settings , in CSGO more like 300fps+

you can forget about low budget options if you run shaders, to put that ahead of all the talking
could be the OEM motherboard screwing with things. That's why upgrading prebuilt systems arent as good of an idea as they sound like (or how Youtubers make it sound like)

A 6950x also costs ~1650 where the 1800x costs ~450.

It's based on silicon lottery. Some IMCs inside Ryzen CPUs can't handle those speeds and/or the bios is not yet matured. And you have to BLCK oc to get to 3600.

Happened to me as well. Run DDU and reinstall. Before turning anything on, restart the computer. Fixed it for me.

If you hear static from your current dac/onboard while not listening to anything then upgrade. Otherwise its not worth it 95% of the time.

Ryzen 7 1700 over the 1700x. Same thing, just lower clock speed (can be overclocked anyway)
Why dont you use Asus Strix 1080ti? You can match mobo's RGB with that card.
X370 is a bit of waste unless you plan on going SLI in the future

I'd just go for Ryzen. Whatever Intel comes up with will still be more expensive.

Ryzen is perfectly capable now, if it suits you needs then why not?

Don't count on Intel to release high end Coffee Lake soon. The chipset meant for it won't be released until holiday season at least.
Go Ryzen and enjoy life.
