Grab some pliers and straighten the pin out. Should be zero problems unless you messed it up royally

be very careful of the amount of tension you put on the pliers though. Just enough movement to straighten it... gently.

Not only what the others have said, but if you consider that it's not just the money he gives, it's also the time he gives and use of his position to shift the way people think about global poverty and health issues.

Not only did he say shit but he put his money where his mouth was, then backed that up by actually travelling to other countries and getting his hands dirty on the ground.

Yeah, he's a real bastard...

That's kinda my point. The guy was ranting about how if we allow police to buy stuff like APC's, then they are gonna chase speeders with them, or other such ridiculous nonsense.

If one disagrees with Police buying military technology, then fine, but at least come up with actual good, factual, and logical arguments as to why.

Yep, that's retail for you lol. My best advice is: "Don't give a shit about the customers opinion, just tell them the facts, but whatever you do make them happy. Ensure that they purchase something, even if its not the most ideal or best product. If they are leaning towards a product or feel strongly about it(as in they really like it), let them feel that way and let them buy it(persuade them to do so). The customer is always right, even when they are wrong.". I worked a few years in retail and hated it, but then I just stopped caring. I became much happier and my sales even improved, but I had to recommend really crappy products to people but it made them happy.

I know its a terrible attitude to have, but you just can't let other people bring you down lol.

    Printers suck.

    /thread.

But on a serious note, if all of the features and specifications are the same(scanner, WiFi, Touchscreen, etc.), then there really isn't much difference between printer A and B(C,D,E,F,G..). The amount of pages per cartridge and quality of image usually isn't properly specified by most budget printer manufactures, so it really boils down to what manufacture you like and which one has the features you need. In your case since you work in retail, if a customer is eyeballing a higher end model and won't budge, just let them buy it, it will make them feel better(until it breaks and its all your fault. Sorry lol, been there done that).

While game play by itself can be fun, there is nothing like an excellent soundtrack to keep you immersed through the whole game.

Going back through my collection of my favorite games, I immediately realize that they all have one thing in common: A beautiful, rich soundtrack.

While choosing your favorite game OST may be difficult, I felt there was no way that a particular game could not be my all-time favorite... And that would be..

    SHOGUN: Total War

Released on the day of June 13, 2000, this game, designed by The Creative Assembly, had featured not only a new revolutionary way to experience turn-based and real-time strategy games, but have included in my mind, the most colorful, cultured, and powerful soundtracks composed by the legendary Jeff van Dyck.

Set in the era of Sengoku Jidai ("the Warring States period" or "Age of the Country at War" 1467-1603) and with its expansion, the Mongolian Invasion (1274-1281), Shogun: Total War allowed PC players to take-on both the beautiful and destructive aspects of the Samurai-dominant eras of Japan.

You can find the OST for Shogun: Total War on youtube:

What is your favorite video game OST(s)? And why?

I assume you are a younger member, simply because you don't seem to be up to date on your Computing History. I apologize ahead of time if that assumption is incorrect.

However, the "OS greatness cycle", as you so eloquently put it... was never in effect.

Windows XP sucked on release. It fucking sucked hard. It was one of the worst OS's ever put out by Microsoft on release. It was incredibly slow, bogged down, had horrible driver support, and most importantly, it was a buggy piece of shit.

People have this weird "rose tinted glasses" thing with Windows XP - especially here on LTT. XP wasn't awesome until SP2 really, and it wasn't until SP3 that really solidified it as one of Microsoft's best OS's.

So can we please stop this false stereotype of "Good OS, Bad OS, Good OS, Bad OS"? It's simply not true.

Take Vista for example. (Almost) Everyone hates Vista. However, Vista SP2 is actually a great OS. All the major bugs were squashed, and it was made very stable by then. But people still trash-talk it to this day, despite the fact that it essentially mirrored Windows XP in terms of usability and bugs.

    Weird, isn't it?
