  1. Well ...I'm a fan of quiet and cool, and I wanted something compact. Open case was the only way to pull off the quiet and compact. Form follows function.

I did have a 1050ti in that 5th slot but it seemed out of place it was cool in the nvcpl to see 4 Titan V and the ti the x10drg-q motherboard has two additional unique features of great value: 1 - let’s you use all the 7 slots even if 4 slots have two slot wide video cards 2 - the primary video slot is the lowest slot on the pic; so your primary video card is the coldest card

  11. The main apps, actually have a good 4 way profile. For calc/isotopes, I have a dedicated cuda app.
  12. Its used to help me make a living first - medical imaging, nuc med, isotopes, oracle and then after all its obligations are met, for gaming.
  13. there are no backplates on my cards and these are my air-cooled temps, think its more than fine (yes, I could liquid cool cards, but at 100s of fps I don't have a need, if I was getting sub 60fps then I would consider it. Main Cpus only run a few degrees above room temp
  14. So now when I turn on the pc --> I always picture the scene in Christmas Vacation where Clark Grizwold plugs in his Christmas tree lights causing the town to lose power and nuclear plant attendant to have to kick up the reactor.
